RUSH?

DaFuq… Rush Limbaugh, anon's original mentor…. shit.

When anon was but a pup, dating his first wife, we used to go on long outings with her Dad driving. No one drove the turbo Sunbird but him. And Dad liked to listen to classical music and talk radio. This would have been in the 80s when Rush was first syndicated, and every time his show was on he would turn up the volume and say "listen up, kids, this guy knows what he's talking about."

Rush was the original redpill. Oh, he never got too deep into the weeds, and that is my only complaint about him in later years. But he saw exactly what was ruining America, and could out-analyze any of his contemporaries OF ANY ERA. I remember when he would interview a young Sean Hannity, or the numerous times that Mark Steyn would fill in. The EPIC spoof commercials, and the downright TROLLING he would do of Dems and talking heads, long before social media. He was the first to get into the pussification of the NFL. He never failed to hold America first.

I will miss you Rush. As full as your life was, it was too short. The world needs more men like you and The Donald.

…continuing that thought. It occurs to me now that Donald and Rush are totally cut from the same cloth. Both are self made, both are bombastic, larger than life, and know exactly how to push your buttons. Brothers of another mother?

Looking back, I realize that the same family members who now can't stand Donald Trump, also could never stand to listen to Rush. It didn't matter if what he was saying was true, they couldn't get past the style of the man and his delivery. People cannot perceive that Rush and DJT both use over-the-top rhetoric to provoke your reaction, and IT DRIVES THEM NUTS. Heheheh. That makes me happy, just thinking about the eyeball rolling and heads asploding whenever either of these men would speak.
