Sorry if I missed the preamble. What do you think it is? I still think there was fuckery that made it crash, and shedding parts off a C130 is unheard of. The only catastrophic failure I know of was a high hour bird losing it's wings when it dumped a load of retardant and the sudden loss of loading flexed the wings beyond their design strength. I know, because I was there.
