1932 - The garland as it exists today was first introduced for the 58th running, won by Burgoo King

 

Each year, a garland of more than 400 red roses is sewn into a green satin backing with the seal of the Commonwealth on one end and the Twin Spires and number of the race's current renewal on the other. Each garland is also adorned with a "crown" of roses, green fern and ribbon. The "crown," a single rose pointing upward in the center of the garland, symbolizes the struggle and heart necessary to reach the Derby Winner's Circle.

 

The Kroger Company has been crafting the garland for the Kentucky Derby since 1987. After taking over the duties from the Kingsley Walker florist, Kroger began constructing the prestigious garland in one of its local stores for the public to view on Derby Eve.

A judge has scheduled a trial for the pair to begin on Oct. 1. Both Mack and Raniere have been charged with sex trafficking, sex-trafficking conspiracy, and forced-labor conspiracy for their involvement in the alleged sex cult.

 

Mack and Raniere have separate legal representation and did not look at each other at all during todayโ€™s status conference, according to Fox News, which reported that Mack โ€œappeared nervous and shaken up in court, focusing her gaze mostly on the floor except when looking up at the judge.โ€

 

Raniere pleaded not guilty on all charges on Friday. He and the 35-year-old actress have been accused of running a secret sorority called DOS within the self-help group NXIVM, which was founded by Raniere. One bombshell revelation came when prosecutors revealed that Mack married Battlestar Galactica actress Nicki Clyne in February 2017 at the alleged request of Raniere. Clyne has supposedly been a member of NXIVM for years.

 

In Fridayโ€™s status conference, federal prosecutors told Judge Nicholas Garaufis they are anticipating more charges and additional suspects. A superseding indictment could come in a month or so, Assistant U.S. Attorney Moira Penza said, according to the New York Daily News.

 

Raniere has been held without bail, whereas Mack was released on $5 million bond last week. She has been placed under house arrest with GPS monitoring at her parentsโ€™ home in California. A follow-up status conference has been set for June 12, and Mackโ€™s lawyers are apparently petitioning that she not be ordered to appear. Itโ€™s believed that Mack is working on a plea deal with federal prosecutors.

 

Mack is best known for portraying Chloe Sullivan on Smallville from 2001 to 2011. She has praised Raniere throughout the years, revealing that she joined NXIVM to cope with the โ€œoverwhelming and intimidatingโ€ success she experienced.

There are probably many of us here who appreciate each of your posts, even when we don't reply. It is encouraging to think that some of those in power, privilege, & wealth are willing and glad to push for a new solution that benefits everyone.

 

I trust that your posts are well-intentioned and honest. But in the back of my mind there is a doubt that you could be playing a game, where you are laughing about how dumb we are while you do the exact thing you are telling us to beware of: Playing like you're helping the sheep, and pointing your fingers at the wolves. Allopathic does accel in surgery, first aid, emergency medicine things like that. If you combine what allopathic medicine does well with some of the other alternatives then you might have something. As it is health care is a uncoordinated, uncooperative system. Funny enough each of the alternatives also kind of think they are the best and make fun of everyone else. So blame to go all around. Another major problem is the gargantuan pharm industry as Trump has pointed out. Health care is a Major money making machine, your health as not only their last priority, but worse, will harm you if it suits them.

 

The real heart of the problem does not lie in the health care system at all. Real health can only occur when Mother Earth herself is healed. It is a big circle jerk otherwise, practicing medicine is really annoying once this fact is known. All the medical services in the world will do nothing as long as we live in such a polluted unrighteous world. Air (breath), Water (drink), Earth (eat), exercise/sleep/emotional well being (society as a whole in how it conducts itself). ALL is messed up, souls in Form are just a reflection of Earth life itself.

 

That said there is one beautiful health discipline that is near and dear to my heart, it transcends all the other medical disciplines and that is Homeopathy. Not the remedies that you get at the health food store for individual ailments, but Constitutional Homeopathy. This is not a stand alone for health care, but an integral part. The Trump administration said on Friday it will end temporary protections on Jan. 5, 2020 for up to 57,000 Honduran immigrants who arrived in the United States in the wake of Hurricane Mitch two decades ago.   1. Without use of the FISA Title-1 warrant, Robert Mueller's corrupt team of political activists would have been forced to go to federal court under Title 3 and request all of those search warrants on individuals/suspects/targets.

  1. In order to get those search warrants, Mueller's team would have needed to show probable cause why the warrants were necessary. This is the ordinary process within going to any federal judge for such matters (ie. Title 3 search warrants) under DOJ authority.
