Missouri isn't terrible, lots of lakes and the cost of living is very low. Things to consider: Avoid St Louis area/burbs included and Jackson County, MO (KC)- areas just outside Jackson County are really good and the price of land is outstanding. I don't really need acreage but looking to invest in some anyway, some with a water source like a creek & some timber. If you like to hunt it's bountiful.
