CONSIDER THIS AN OPEN INVITE TO JIM TO CLARIFY SOME SHIT. THANKS, JIM, FOR LETTING US USE YOUR PLATFORM FOR THIS MOVEMENT.
OK, this is lengthy, but I'm trying my best to recap, and I might have some details wrong so bear with me. People of both boards deserve to know the facts, so discussion is warranted, and things need to be hashed out once and for all. The reason I'm doing this is because it would appear as though Jim doesn't mind "looking like the bad guy" when, in fact, he's actually up to something else. People (not Jim specifically, but yes, he too) have things to hide, so the truth about what's really going on isn't even being discussed.
This is an attempt to clarify shit.
Last year, the "Baking Crew" started getting some competition from some rather boisterous personalities. This culminated in the baker wars and tons of drama that 99% of the people here give less than two shits about, in all honesty, but it couldn't be ignored because it was too disruptive.

Accusations of maintaining a stiff control over the breads were thrown around, and the MNR board was spawned out of that in the interest of having a board that works like QR, but runs "cleaner". That was the story of that board's creation. So the "Baking Crew" that has been running bakes for years essentially made it look like they stepped over there, and left this place alone (they didn't, of course, but that's sort of the point). Some anons might not know that baking crew was at one point comprised of people like "incarnated extraterrestrial" and Julian'sRum from twitter.
Last year, FJ reveals that there are conversations between Jim and another "admin" about the future of 8kun being in the model of monetizing /newsplus/ which takes the "idea" behind QR, and lets anons submit articles for discussion/dissemination (great idea!). In that conversation, Jim states the people of QR will be gone after November, and FJ emphatically states he'll be here well into this year, or as long as this goes on. So this would seem to be THE issue at hand; the state of the future.

Time goes on, anons are getting really pissed about the ongoing drama, and it would have appeared as though FJ and the BV crew he finally stood up weren't doing enough to get a handle on the situation. There are real world shills out there posting actual CP, incessant spamming and intentionally fucking up notables from lolipedosatania baker (who admitted to hanging out on nichan; That should be a BIG red flag right fucking there) to other recognizable personalities doing their fuckery. Some anons start fighting to get the breads back the way they should be, and there appears to be no help from upper management. But there's a problem with that, too, as it would seem some of the attacks (not particularly the CP stuff, but other sneaky things like deletions, locks, unlocks, etc.) were coming from inside 8kun.
To make matters more complicated, FJ's own BV crew was making matters worse for him. Whitegirlsfuckdogs was causing problems, and got the axe. The drama and attacks continued ad nauseam throughout the election, and then the general mood went to absolute shit. Many hints from many personalities here and out there in the world (social media) were encouraging anons to keep doing what they were doing, but leave "Q" out of it, so to speak. Camouflage and all that jazz. Anons are stubborn things, though, as we've seen with the dedication of many, including 8bit and FJ (despite what some people would have you think). As a result, this place persists.
Then the "Pillow" incident happened. Pillow was "an old timer", seems to have been from the old days of 8chan (embrace infamy and all that shit). Since Jim was making it clear that he wanted to use the /newsplus/ model to monetize, Pillow ragequit and nuked QR in protest. The reason he nuked QR wasn't because it was QR. It was because the only reason Jim is as popular as he is, is QR. So Pillow decided to strike against Jim as a parting blow, and write a disseration about the subject of chan/IB culture and accusing Jim of being a "sellout". The reasons for this get into some very… um… interesting interpretations of what FREE SPEECH really is to a certain subset of people that like to peruse a particular type of content; of which there are even big divisions in that group, too, but that's another rant for another time. It's a converation most people aren't ready to have, honestly, it it's starting to look like all those places are actually just honeypots, so the calibur of glowfaggotry anons live amongst, here, is quite impressive.

What I'm getting at is this. I think anons, FJ, 8bit, and many others probably should've taken the hint a long time ago; especially with Flynn sending a very clear message to everyone with his adamant endorsement of people like Tracy Beanz. That message is "citizen journalism"; plain and simple. Not an endorsement of Beanz as much as it is what she is doing. That takes us back to Jim, and his future plans for his site. Jim owns and operates this place, and frankly, it's his right to do whatever with it. Given the authenticity of Q, Jim wants to handle that delicately.
The problem Jim has, is, his efforts are viewed as a slight to the people of this board, and the years of dedicated research and earnest efforts from anons and admins alike. Anything he does seems like he is working to become a "paytriot", damaging his image, so any direct, honest, and public actions he might take to "bring an end" to QR so that his /newsplus/ idea can flourish is just going to be in bad form. Are you anons starting to get a handle on where this is headed?Nobody wants to come out and just say it, although 8bit and Pillow somewhat did. All the while, the /MNR/ crew does seem to be having a little bit of gleefulness in watching things unfold on QR as it transitions from a simmer to a slow boil. But they aren't out of the woods, either.
Swampfox, who is freebaker, who is a female, who many seem to think they know who she REALLY is, is starting to piss off even Tom, MNR's board owner because she deleted a post that outed her. To make matters more complex, one of the bakers on MNR seem to be one of the anons on QR that is pushing all the disinfo telegram accounts for Clint Eastwood, General McInerney, and Mike Pompeo. Those accounts are obviously all being ran by a single imposter. This, itself, is putting a highlighter on the fact that MNR has its fair share of problems.

Now, imagine you are Jim, and you've got a QR board that just won't die, a crew of people on MNR that want to make it look like they are perfectly innocent (but you can tell by their posting patterns they are very busy on QR and other places; coordinating their comms outside of 8kun), and anons going "WTAF IS GOING ON?". Fastjack and 8bit obviously didn't get the memo from Q and @POTUS to "drop the persona and move on, but keep doing what you are doing without mentioning Q". Jim got that memo back in spring of last year, it would seem, and he also wants to keep his site going and generating revenue so he was "hands off" except for the fact he has a BV running around doing whatever, whenever. When Pillow nuked QR, it was to send the message "Look, Jim, the only reason you are relevant is QR The very thing you want to go away. So, I'll just push the button for you, tee hee." Pillow was calling Jim's bluff to move things forward more quickly, and in HIS view, honestly. FJ and 8bit probably caught on and were doing their best to be a thorn in Jim's side; hence the PERFECT TYPE OF ATTACK ON THE BOARD that suddenly disappeared when 8bit ragequit. On the surface, it looks like Jim somewhat allied with MNR (even though they've got some disinfo shilling issue themselves) by elevating one of their own to GV, which forced 8bit to say "fuck it", and here we are, today, wondering who in the actual fuck swampfox really is which will end up being a better kept secret than actual factual life of Jesus' of Nazareth.

Everyone's doing deceptive shit because no one wants to admit that QR "going away" is part of the plan. This part of the operation is over, and Jim needs to pay bills, so monetization of Free Speech platforms it is. There's an entire thread where 8bit offers his viewpoint, and Pillow's last post is capped and has been circulated around quite a bit. Tom's always extending an olive branch to QR, but has issues over there, too with shill bakers. FJ is the one that originally posted Jim's conversation with the admin over /newsplus/. Ron takes off, and the board's performance drops like a rock (someone unplugged something very useful). .
It's a scenario of competing wills, and an attempt to recap it all and makes sense of what's really happening. If you aren't up to date, that's on you. The people of this movement deserve to know the truth, and if Jim's hemorrhaging money and is doing what he can to get some repayment for his sacrifice in letting this place persist, then FFS, let's just come on out with the truth already.
