I'm not discounting political calculations, because I think the Cuomo takedown as an Obama faction taking out the Clinton side for Harris/Mike 2024 is the most plausible explanation.

However, going back to Pelosi's statement a couple of years ago of, roughly, "To negotiate against Trump you have to have a nuclear bomb in your pocket", I think a nuke threat is possible.

What they're doing here, then, could be trying to take the good guy's nuke retaliation potential that's creating the Mexican standoff, off the table.

They got Biden in, because Harris would never had made it, and now they want Joe to hand over the football, playing off his purported "popularity" and "Trust" with the American people. They'll try to make the case, somehow, that it's in everyone's best interest. Joe would never lie to the US peeps, you see.

Bottom line, then, AFAIAC, is that Harris isn't getting shit if she takes over POTUS. That must have been decided already. Red line breach. DS needs to take out the good guys nuke potential now.

No, not hand them over. Good guys don't want that and Pelosi/DS needs to know what good guys are up to. Hard to explain, but my idea is that Bidan may have all or some military backing because, as of now, he is the certified elected President. As such he has access to the codes, or he thinks he does.

My basic premises is that Harris won't get military backing. That would mean, Pelosi has to get access while Bidan can give that order, because it's the only chance she has to get them. Why would they need the codes from Bidan if they could simply take out Bidan and Harris would get them?

It seems to me you could explain a lot of decisions, events and lack of civilian checkpoint actions in the run out of Trump's term if you put a DS nuke threat (or mass casualty threat) into the picture. IOW, put Bidan in office or this dog gets shot. MSM ran with Bidan's favorability with the US pop to gaslight any questions about his decisions as POTUS. Must have been too much out there on Harris to get her elected.

So, TL;DR DS is trying to get good guys nukes using Bidan as an interloper. Nukes, may be too specific, perhaps good guys order of battle and red lines is more accurate. It's a sign, to me, that DS doesn't know what's going to happen, other than military will not accept Harris.
