Reading Notables and must comment about something that is tickling my brian.
The vast majority of the people leaving the cities are bringing their belief systems with them. Is DS deliberately driving their own base out into our communities, in order to force their agenda onto us? The visceral hatred with which liberals view the rest of us is being showcased on the MSM every day. We are, in their words, uneducated deplorables (and worse). Does DS expect their displaced base to vote as it has always voted and thereby overwhelm conservative voters in conservative areas?
Are any of the refugees from the cities being paid to move into our communities and disrupt our way of life? Can we, through kindness and example, convert (yeah, I know, that word will get their attention) the refugees to our belief system? Will displaced liberals be able to view us as people, after being told by politicians, "authorities", MSM, Hollywood, music industry, sports figures and commentators, big tech and many others that we are deplorable?
Been thinking about Texas and the polar vortex. Did DS expect their displaced base to deliver Texas to them? Did their displaced base fail to deliver? Was the vortex punishment for failure? Did businesses move to Texas with the expectation that their employees, who moved with them, would flip Texas? Did said employees and businesses get the vortex message?
