Basin 3 appears wall-to-wall boats with absolutely no visible water channels between. Could they have been double-bunking with their dock orphans from another basin? I can barely detect where the angular breakwater dock would be. But again, behind it there is no visible channel of water. Did the Q LBP pic capture a very specific time of the community in Basin 3 sharing berth space with "dock orphans" from a basin refurb? IF TRUE, and I am just theorizing, from which basin's refurb came the extra boats?
How about a BAT-21 interpretation of the picture. Instead of a golf course, we use an American football field. 160 feet wide. 300 feet long. Not sure of regulation placement of the hash marks but, since this is not a kick-off play, the football is not likely "dead center" of the field. The for the parallel rows running down the field is that if the ball's position at the end of the last play is near the periphery of the field, it is re-positioned to allow for all the players of the offensive and defensive lines to deploy in a full line.
I'm arbitrarily going to place the ball to the right side of the field on the 40-yard line.
