The location of LBP is well-identified by the marina and the airport. Various features have changed within the area covered by the camera frame. Unfortunately, those markers re fairly ambiguous in LBP due to distance, haze, and angle of view.

These changing features include RUBY'S DINDER on end of the SEAL BEACH PIER, the phased rebuild of the docking in the ALAMITOS MARINA, and the shuttering/demolition of the SEAPORT MARINA HOTEL and the redevelopment of the land it stood on. In addition, the asphalt in the marina parking areas underwent resurfacing, also in stages over several years.

A summary of the datining of LBP will follow but for now it seems that the most sure bookend we have is the not-after-bookend which is the date on which Q posted LBP.

Apr 18 2019 14:47:48 (EST)

Closely related is the date on which SARA CARTER posted her article regarding the Mueller Reporter. Q included a link to her tweet that, in turn, linked to her article.

Tweet was timestamped Apr 18, 2019 and the article was posted the same day. The contents of that article are well-worth considering when thinking about 1st & 10 on the 40.

Depending on what the viewer can discern with the naked eye while scrutinizing the details of LBP, any one of the markers listed above could date the pic, however, they all appear within the frames and the dates associated with each feature must reconcile with all of the others.

Moar upcoming.

Before sifting through the details, let's take another look at LBP and answer the following.

  1. Is there a structure, a rooftop, discernible at the end of the SEAL BEACH PIER in LBP? Or does that area appear to be flat?

  1. Is Basin 4 occupied by vessels? Is it partially empty or empty?

  1. Same two questions for each of the other basins, including 1, 2, 3, and 4.

  1. Can you discern the distinctive shape of the SEAPORT MARINA HOTEL? Or is it only partly standing or is it no longer in its place?

  1. Does the colour or tone of the surface of the parking area between the shore of the marina of basins 2/3 and East Marina Drive a[[ear to be consistent from end to end?

With your best effort to see these distinctions, and to assess these markers, we can compile your answers and compare against the dates that are known for the changes that each feature underwent in recent years. Perhaps each of us will come up with a different conclusion as a result.

The goal is to determine bookends, the date BEFORE which LBP could not have been taken; the date AFTER which it could have been taken; the date BEFORE which LBP could not have been taken; the date BEFORE which LBP could have been taken.

Between the bookends will be the interval for LBP. There may be moar details with which to refine the interval, but for now, can we at least identify the YEAR it was taken?

As you go through the questions above, and scrutinize LBP's details, keep in mind that the process of elimination is very handy. That helps balance the other tool – consistency, whereby each of these markers must reconcile with all of the others.

>3. Same two questions for each of the other basins, including 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Sorry for the typo.

Should be 'and 5', not '4'. It is the basin at the entrance to ALAMITOS BAY.

Should add a 5th question.

  1. Do the colours/tones in the water of the marina appear to be consistent or varying significantly? Can distinct 'regions' be discerned by colours/tones from basin to basin, especially in basins 2 and 3?
