Sesame Street Pushing ‘Racial Justice’ for Toddlers in ‘ABCs of Racial Literacy’ Segments

In the left’s latest effort to reach younger and younger children with their propaganda, Sesame Street is now making “ABCs of Racial Literacy” segments to do so.

The children’s franchise also created two new black muppets for the videos.

The Sesame Workshop says that the new programming part of their “work to dismantle racism” and that they are committed to “racial justice.”

“Sesame Workshop has always stood for diversity, inclusion, equity, and kindness. As a trusted source for families, we have a responsibility to speak out for racial justice and empower families to have conversations about race and identity with their children at a young age,” Kay Wilson Stallings, Executive Vice President of Creative and Production of Sesame Workshop, said of the programming. “The work to dismantle racism begins by helping children understand what racism is and how it hurts and impacts people. Sadly, today’s announcement comes at a time of racial and social discord when many families are in need of support in talking to their children about racism. We’re proud to reaffirm our Coming Together commitment to racial justice, which will be woven into new Sesame Workshop content for years to come.”

Dr. Jeanette Betancourt, the Senior Vice President of Sesame Workshop, also released a statement saying, “children are not colorblind—not only do they first notice differences in race in infancy, but they also start forming their own sense of identity at a very young age.” The addition of black Muppets apparently will help “foster open, age-appropriate conversations among families and support them in building racial literacy.”

Newsbusters writer Lindsay Kornick pointed out that these statements actually seem pretty racist.

“Color me skeptical but telling kids that skin color is ‘an important part’ of them doesn’t feel like it’ll end racism. In fact, suggesting that children can inherently judge others by race is far more racist than anything I’ve seen lately. Besides, we all know that the “racial justice” they’re talking about is the BLM abolishing the police variety. It always is,” she wrote.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Announces Sanctions on 'Relevant UK Individuals and Entities'

Earlier, the United Kingdom imposed sanctions on Beijing based on allegations of human rights abuse in Xinjiang. The move was slammed by China as "based on nothing but lies and disinformation."

China's Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday that it will impose sanctions on several UK entities and individuals, following allegations of human rights abuse in the region of Xinjiang.

Beijing sanctioned nine persons, among them Tom Tugendhat, Iain Duncan Smith, Neil O'Brien, David Alton, Tim Loughton, Nusrat Ghani, Helena Kennedy, Geoffrey Nice and Joanne Nicola Smith Finley. The four entities that were subjected to Beijing sanctions are the China Research Group, the Conservative Party Human Rights Commission, the Uyghur Tribunal and the Essex Court Chambers.

"As of today, the individuals concerned and their immediate family members are prohibited from entering the mainland, Hong Kong and Macao of China. Their property in China will be frozen, and Chinese citizens and institutions will be prohibited from doing business with them. China reserves the right to take further measures", the foreign ministry stated.

Earlier, the United Kingdom sanctioned the government of Chinese President Xi Jinping over allegations of human rights abuses in Xinjiang. According to Beijing, the accusations are based on "nothing but lies and disinformation". After London slapped sanctions on the Beijing government, the British Ambassador to China was summoned by Vice Foreign Minister Qin Gang, who condemned the move and pledged "legitimate responses to UK's wrongdoings."

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying, commenting on the matter earlier in the week, said that allegations of human rights abuse are "a pretext for interfering in China's internal affairs and frustrate China's development."

"People of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang, including the Uyghurs, enjoy each and every constitutional and lawful right. The fact that Xinjiang residents of various ethnic groups enjoy stability, security, development and progress, makes it one of the most successful human rights stories," she insisted.

On Monday, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand and Australia in a joint statement denounced China for alleged human rights violations in the Xinjiang province, calling on Beijing to stop its "repressive practices" in the region.

Earlier, Western countries described the situation in Xinjiang as a "genocide" of the Uyghur ethnic group, particularly claiming that Uyghurs are being sent to "re-education camps", claims that Beijing has consistently denied.

Trouble With The Ghislaine Maxwell Case?

On Tuesday, a motion was unsealed in the Ghislaine Maxwell case that give us serious concerns about the government’s case against Maxwell.

I’ll make this brief. The unsealed motion had to do with Maxwell’s recently rejected motion for release on bail. It had been sealed because it references documents that are still under seal. You can read the full motion for release on bail here.

I won’t go through the whole motion - only the parts that stand out.

First, Maxwell makes the accusation that “the government concedes it cannot establish that either Ms. Maxwell or Epstein ever caused, or sought to cause, Accuser-3 to travel while she was a minor or that she was underage when she allegedly engaged in sex acts with Epstein.”

Amy Schumer Backs Michelle Obama’s Effort to Promote Election Bill Gutting Voter Identification Requirements

Actress-comedian Amy Schumer is throwing her weight behind Michelle Obama’s effort to promote the For the People Act, a Democratic-backed legislation that would gut voter identification requirements, restore voting rights to convicted felons, and expand vote by mail.

The 791-page bill bill, which has been condemned by Republicans as a potential disaster for the country, would essentially federalize elections by seizing power from states. It would also protect illegal aliens from prosecution if they are registered to vote automatically and never made an affirmative declaration that they were U.S. citizens.

Amy Schumer, who is a cousin of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), expressed her support for the bill in an Instagram post Thursday, saying that she is “proud” to stand with Michelle Obama.

“Now is our chance to protect and strengthen our democracy and put power back where it belongs—with the people,” Schumer wrote.

Earlier this week, Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote organization published an open letter urging Americans to pressure Congress into passing the bill. The letter invokess the January 6 Capitol Hill riots, calling it a “historic day of shame.”

“We urge every American to remember how it felt to watch as our Capitol was desecrated earlier this year—and to channel that outrage into patriotic duty,” says the letter, which is co-signed by former Obama senior advisor Valerie Jarrett.

Harry Lands New “Disinformation” Gig Days After Lying About “Early Marriage” …He’s Funded With Profits from a Website Used for Sex Trafficking.

Harry Markle (or Hewitt?) just landed a role on the Aspen Institute’s Commission on Information Disorder just days after he and his wife Meghan Markle spread disinformation about the timing of their marriage.

The commission – which seeks to “combat America’s urgent mis- and disinformation challenge” – is chaired by anti-Trump journalist Katie Couric, far-left activist Rashad Robinson, and “NeverTrump” activist Chris Krebs. Krebs was notoriously fired by President Trump for disputing election fraud claims and continued to seek publicity after his termination.

“The Commission is fully funded by Craig Newmark Philanthropies, the giving organization of the founder of craigslist, who is also a member of the Cyber Group,” an Aspen Institute press release notes.

In other words, the effort to counter disinformation is being funded by the founder of a site that has come under fire for fueling America’s sex trafficking industry.

“Craigslist has faced criticism over its role in facilitating prostitution and trafficking before,” The New York Times notes in an article about how the Trump administration forced the site to take down its “personals” advertisement section. The company has also been sued for enabling – and even profiting from – child sex trafficking.

The appointment of Harry – “Mr. Markle” – is also ironic, as he and his wife were recently caught lying about the timing of their wedding.

During an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle revealed “three days before our wedding, we got married. No one knows that. The vows that we have framed in our room are just the two of us in our backyard with the Archbishop of Canterbury.” Mr. Markle confirmed her story, adding “just the three of us.”

The Sun, however, obtained the couple’s marriage license which disproved the couple’s tale.

Stephen Borton, former chief clerk at the Faculty Office, told the publication: “I’m sorry, but Meghan is obviously confused and clearly misinformed. They did not marry three days earlier in front of the Archbishop of Canterbury.”

“What I suspect they did was exchange some simple vows they had perhaps written themselves, and which is fashionable, and said that in front of the Archbishop – or, and more likely, it was a simple rehearsal,” he added.

Two men arrested by counter-terrorism police in Brisbane and Melbourne

Two men have been arrested in Melbourne and Brisbane by counter-terrorism police over their alleged involvement in a Queensland-based network.

The Australian Federal Police said the men "are alleged to have played senior roles in a South-East Queensland-based syndicate who maintained religiously motivated violent extremist ideology and a desire to travel to Syria to engage in hostile activities".

Both men have been charged after their arrests.

One of the men appeared in the Melbourne Magistrate's Court yesterday and will be extradited to Queensland.

The second man is expected to face the Brisbane Magistrate's Court today.

Police will address the media this morning.

STUDY: Chemical That Causes Penises To Shrink Found In Face Masks

Phthalates has been linked to genital shrinkage, decreased fertility rates, and less masculine behavior in young boys

Dr. Shanna Swan, a professor of Environmental Medicine & Public Health at Mount Sinai Health System, has warned in a new book that phthalates, a chemical commonly used in the manufacturing of plastics, can shrink penises and decrease male fertility.

A study listed in the National Center for Biotechnology Information, which operates under the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health, found that the microplastics used in the manufacturing of Covid face masks contain a number of toxic chemicals, including the penis-shrinking phthalates.

PHTHALATES LINKED TO PENILE SHRINKAGE

Dr. Swans’s book “Count Down: How Our Modern World Is Threatening Sperm Counts, Altering Male and Female Reproductive Development, and Imperiling the Future of the Human Race” warns that humanity is facing an “existential crisis” in fertility rates as a direct result of the chemical phthalates, and most men may be infertile by 2045.

As Sky News reported, Dr. Swan found that “male human babies who had been exposed to the phthalates in the womb had a shorter anogenital distance – something that correlated with penile volume.” Dr. Swan’s research also discovered that rats exposed to phthalates were born with shrunken genitals.

Other sources have also documented the link between phthalates and decreased male fertility. WebMD reported in 2009 on a study by Swan that found young boys whose mothers were exposed to high levels of phthalates were more likely to exhibit non-masculine behavior and less likely to “play with trucks and other male-typical toys or to play fight.”

A doctor who reviewed Swan’s study for WebMD found “exposure to the chemicals can cause a wide range of male reproductive harm, including undescended testicles, birth defects of the genitals, and infertility later in life.”

Even the CDC, which claims the effects of phthalates on human health are “unknown,” admits “Some types of phthalates have affected the reproductive system of laboratory animals.”

Furious parents have hit out at a school where they say their sons were forced to stand up at an assembly and apologise on behalf of their gender.

Parents of male students at a school in Victoria’s southwest are furious after their sons were forced to stand up at an assembly and apologise to their female classmates.

Brauer College, in Warrnambool, held an assembly on Wednesday where boys were told to stand in solidarity for female students who had experienced sexual harassment.

Outraged parents say their sons were told to apologise to the girls for offensive behaviour on behalf of their gender.

The move comes after a viral petition exposed thousands of stories of sexual assault from students and former students around Australia, throwing the education sector into crisis.

A Snapchat post, believed to be by a male student at the school, took aim at the assembly saying: “Today at Brauer they made every guy stand up and apologise to every girl for rape, sexual assault and so on.

“Guys are always the ‘bad guys’ in everything these days. I’m not saying girls do not go through sht. Guys go through as much sht as girls do.”

Ohio Legislature Overrides DeWine's Veto of Law Curtailing His Dictatorial COVID-19 Powers

It took more than a year, but the Ohio legislature finally managed to clip Gov. Mike DeWine’s wings when it comes to his overreaching COVID-19 mandates. Ohioans are still suffering through DeWine’s draconian diktats, including an ongoing mask mandate, social-distancing rules, and crippling indoor dining regulations. One day after DeWine vetoed Senate Bill 22, the Senate voted 23-10 to override his veto. A short time later, the House voted 62-35 to do the same—the first time the legislature has overridden DeWine since he took office in 2019.

S.B. 22, which doesn’t take effect for 90 days, grants the legislature the authority to cancel emergency health orders with the adoption of a concurrent resolution. While aimed at Gov. DeWine, the new law changes the rules for orders emanating from the health department, which DeWine, a Republican, has used to keep the state locked down for more than a year. The new language further states that the health department “shall not reissue that special or standing order or rule or rescinded portion thereof… for a period of 60 days following the adoption of a concurrent resolution striking them down.”

The bill also limits the power of local health officials to force people to self-quarantine without a specific medical diagnosis. It also gives Ohioans the right to challenge the constitutionality of state health orders in a court of law, and to recover legal costs.

In addition, S.B. 22 creates the Ohio health oversight and advisory committee consisting of (1) Three members of the Senate appointed by the president of the Senate, two of whom are members of the majority party and one of whom is a member of the minority party; (2) Three members of the House of Representatives appointed by the speaker of the House of Representatives, two of whom are members of the majority party and one of whom is a member of the minority party, to evaluate health orders.

Homeless activists backed by socialists attack LAPD trying to shut down 'largest self-run' encampment

Los Angeles police officers clashed with homeless people and activists while trying to shut down a large encampment that some claim has the support of the local community.

The LAPD issued a citywide tactical alert on Wednesday over the altercations at Echo Park Lake, about three miles north of downtown Los Angeles, where hundreds of homeless people have encamped for more than a year.

The tents have transformed into a makeshift communal society with a pantry and garden, but homeowners have fumed on YouTube and other social media platforms that the encampment has brought crime and unsafe conditions. An online petition from nearby residents demanded that the city remove the camp and received more than 4,000 signatures.

On Wednesday the police tried to close the park and remove the encampment but they were attacked by the homeless and their activist supporters. Police said they threw bottles and rocks at the officers.

"The Los Angeles Police Department was asked to support community safety efforts during installation of the fencing to assist in the rehabilitation of Echo Park," said a statement from Los Angeles Councilman Mitch O'Farrell, whose district includes the park.

"Department personnel are deployed in that area so that those efforts can begin in a safe and unimpeded manner," he added. "Our homeless service providers will return tomorrow morning to continue their work with the park's unhoused residents to offer shelter and services to anyone who wants and needs the assistance."

Activists excoriated O'Farrell on social media and blamed him for what they called an immoral effort to "gentrify" the neighborhood.
