Brother, Sister-In-Law Of Michael Flynn Sue CNN Over QAnon Reporting

The brother and sister-in-law of former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn are suing CNN over a report that they say portrays them as adherents of the QAnon conspiracy theory.

Jack and Leslie Flynn point to a Feb. 4 report from CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan they claim portrays them as QAnon supporters. They are seeking $75 million in damages over the reporting they allege was false and defamatory.

The CNN segment, which includes a short video clip Michael Flynn posted on Twitter of the extended Flynn family’s July 4, 2020 celebrations, purports to be an in-depth look at QAnon followers. Flynn has since been banned from Twitter.

The Flynns allege the clip of the Flynn’s Fourth of July celebrations falsely portrayed them as QAnon followers, which “exposed Plaintiffs to public scorn, ridicule and contempt, and lowered their esteem in the community, causing insult, embarrassment, humiliation and substantial injury to Plaintiffs’ reputations.”

They further allege CNN’s depictions of them constitute defamation per se since a later CNN report on QAnon from Anderson Cooper “repeated that QAnon espoused ideas that were based on ‘anti-Semitic, anti-Catholic tropes that have been used [by] … the Nazis.'”

The Flynns claim in the lawsuit they are both private citizens. Under defamation law, private citizens have a higher expectation of privacy than public figures, so it is easier for them to collect damages. CNN faced a similar lawsuit in 2019, when high school student Nicholas Sandmann filed a suit after the network aired misleadingly-edited footage purporting to show Sandmann harassing a liberal activist.

Michael Flynn served as National Security Advisor to former President Donald Trump before resigning in February 2017. Trump later pardoned Flynn after he pled guilty to lying to the FBI about phone conversations he had with the Russian Ambassador. Then-Attorney General William Barr described the case as a “perjury trap.”

VIDEO: Unaccompanied Migrant Children Search for Border Patrol in South Texas

Breitbart Texas posted up near Mission, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley Sector to briefly interview migrants walking trails as they searched for Border Patrol. At one point, a group of five unaccompanied alien children (UACs) stopped to share their stories.

Walking freely through the brush, the children ranged in ages from 9 to 17. One girl spoke on behalf of the group in near-perfect English, explaining they were traveling without adults and met each other along the journey. She was from Belize and claims to have learned English there. There were no Border Patrol agents or other law enforcement officers around to direct the children as they made their way from farm roads to an official checkpoint.

Border Patrol Agent Chris Cabrera, Vice President of the National Border Patrol Council, worries about the migrants, especially the unaccompanied children who are traveling through the brush as the weather begins to warm in South Texas.

“We’re standing where a 9-year-old died after suffering a stroke a few years back,” he said during a recent interview. “I became an EMT specifically to increase my chances of being able to help them, the dangers will only increase as the hot weather arrives in a few months,” he adds.

The group of children eventually reached Border Patrol and will be placed in increasingly overcrowded detention facilities.

Laura Ingraham sometimes is off base – last night was one of those times.

She’s attractive and smart. She has good connections and has been in the Washington swamp for a long time. She is conservative and has her own show on FOX News. But she will never be number one.

We saw glimpses of greatness at various times. She was excellent early on in the coronavirus crisis when she was able to cut through the garbage and dig at the truth. She understood faster than others that the China coronavirus was not as bad as was being paraded on other cable news networks.

But at other times, Laura is lost. She gave up on President Trump as soon as the 2020 election was stolen by the Biden gang. She either didn’t have the courage to stand up to FOX Executives or she didn’t have the wits to see what was happening. But within hours Laura was already moving on with the corrupt Biden gang. Because of this, her viewership is half what it was.

In her interview with the President last night, she rudely cut off the President of the United States when he tried to share the facts about the election being stolen.

And what they did was absolutely disgraceful and if you look at the numbers, the numbers were vastly in favor of us in the Presidential election. It was disgraceful that they were able to get away with it and the Supreme Court didn’t have the courage to do what they had to do.

To which Laura rudely interrupts and says:

Yeah, well speaking as a, speaking as a lawyer, we’re not going to relitigate the past tonight. But speaking as a lawyer I think that going forward, I think any candidate running for office has to have a heck of a legal strategy in place before, like long before the election takes place.

That was it. What an absolute outrage. Ingraham sides with FOX News executives. She blames the President for the Democrats stealing the election. She ignores and shuts down the President. She claims a better legal strategy will prevent massive Democrat fraud – when the courts refuse to hear the President’s cases.

Newly appointed Laurel Little League President and diversity activist Michael Snead of Delaware gave a family member a Tee-Ball Coaching position within Laurel Little League’s organization. This family member and coach failed to consult the parents of her players, and made an executive decision that the players of her tee-ball team would be wearing pink uniforms.

Concerned Delaware father Adam Bailey immediately reached out to Laurel Little League to express his concern and ask for a uniform color change or a team switch for his 5-year-old son, which was immediately denied and dismissed because the father’s request was a hindrance to Snead’s diversity activism.

Snead has been accused of using his position as a Little League official to force a political agenda that disrupts the wholesome essence of family and community upon players. Critics have stated that forcing unhappy parents to watch as their little boys are forced to wear pink uniforms is a humiliation tactic used by diversity and LGBTQ activists, and has nothing to do with baseball.

Tee-ball father Adam Bailey doubled down and shared his interaction with the Laurel Little League President on Facebook and was immediately met with the public doxxing of his address and death threats, one of which coming from a Delaware local named Marcus Bounds.

Two US Spy Planes Spotted Over Syrian Government Areas In Deir Ezzor

On March 26, two US spy plans were spotted flying over government-held areas in the southern countryside of Syria’s Deir Ezzor.

The two planes, a Beechcraft MC-12W Liberty and a Beechcraft Super King Air 350, were tracked by aviation observers as they circled over the town of al-Bukamal right on the border between Syria and Iraq.

The MC-12W is a version of the C-12 Huron that was modified for the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) role for the US Air Force. Several copies of the Super King Air 350 were also modified to carry out ISR and signal intelligence missions for the US army.

The planes were likely spying on Iranian forces which maintain a strong presence in al-Bukamal and nearby areas in order to counter ISIS cells.

US-led coalition planes fly over northeastern Syria, where the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces are in control, on a daily basis. This is however the first time when US spy planes were spotted flying over the government-held part of Deir Ezzor.

Last month, the US carried out a series of strikes on positions of Iranian-backed Iraqi forces in al-Bukamal in repose to a rocket attack on its troops in Erbil Airport. At least one fighter of Kata’ib Hezbollah was killed in the strikes.

The US military may be preparing to carry out a new wave of strikes on Iranian-backed forces in Syria. This would lead to more escalation between Washington and Tehran.

Lobbying Firm Repping Ethiopian Regime a Major Biden Backer

A prominent Washington, D.C., lobbying firm and major Democratic donor is partnering with the Ethiopian regime, which has been accused of war crimes in the country's Tigray region, prompting a protest from Tigrayan advocates outside the firm's doors on Thursday.

Venable LLP, a law firm with a political lobbying arm, struck a contract in February with the Ethiopian government running through the end of April. Venable also made major donations to several Democratic candidates in the 2020 election cycle and did contract work for the company of freshman senator Mark Kelly (D., Ariz.).

Venable has financial ties to several of the Biden administration’s senior leaders. According to publicly available financial disclosures, employees of the lobbying firm gave more than $200,000 to the Biden campaign, more than $33,000 to Vice President Kamala Harris, and $14,000 to Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg.

Activist Meaza Gidey said the protesters are concerned about the Ethiopian government using Venable’s connections to lawmakers on Capitol Hill to soften the American response to the humanitarian crisis.

"We are concerned because they might have connections that they have built over the past years," Gidey told the Washington Free Beacon. She said the firm could use those connections to "effectively convince American policymakers" to be more favorable to the Ethiopian regime.

In the 2020 campaign cycle, Venable and its employees donated a total of $339,200 to 132 Democratic lawmakers in Congress. The firm and its employees gave $114,707 to Republican candidates, less than 25 percent of its political donations. The firm’s influence also extends to prominent Senate Democrats. At least three lobbyists employed by Venable previously served on the staffs of Sens. Dick Durbin (D., Ill.), Chris Murphy (D., Conn.), and former senator Claire McCaskill (D., Mo.).

Venable did not respond to a request for comment on its relationship with Ethiopia, its stance on the crisis in Tigray, or its relationship with lawmakers.

The firm also lobbied for World View Enterprises, a company founded by Sen. Mark Kelly (D., Ariz.). According to publicly available contract data, the lobbying firm worked for World View Enterprises from June 2019 to October 2020. World View Enterprises paid Venable roughly $130,000 for its services. The firm's employees also gave $6,000 in campaign donations to Kelly’s Senate campaign in 2020, prompting questions about the relationship between Kelly and Venable. Kelly’s firm has already come under fire for its ties to a Chinese tech giant responsible for censorship within China.

A spokesman for Kelly said the senator left World View Enterprises in February 2019, before the company's contract with Venable.

Open The New York Times’ politics page Thursday morning and the top headline reads, “Democrats Begin Push For Biggest Expansion In Voting Since 1960s.” It’s a story about the most important election power-grab in modern legislative history, with a slim, partisan majority of senators seeking to wrest control of elections away from state governments to ensure Democrat control for decades to come.

For starters, H.R. 1 will ban voter ID requirements, mandate early voting windows, allow outside activist groups to deliver votes for counting, do away with notarized absentee ballots, force states to accept absentees for 10 days after an election is over, narrow the Federal Election Commission by one member to allow for partisan control, mandate counting illegal aliens in voting districts, allow the IRS to investigate non-profits’ political ideas, and make it nearly impossible to sue over the new rules.

In short, it’s a story about Democrats aiming to seize massive power over how elections are run. Of course, you wouldn’t get any of that information from The New York Times headline or copy. In fact, funny enough, the second story on The New York Times’ politics page Thursday morning was the one headlined, “Republicans Aim To Seize More Power Over How Elections Are Run.”

That one’s a story about Republicans working to pull control of the elections back from judges and officials’ extra-legislative “emergency rules” and rulings. The moves, the story reports with a straight face, are “threatening the fairness that is the bedrock of American democracy.”

After calling Putin ‘killer’ and Xi ‘autocrat,’ Biden invites them to CLIMATE summit – reports

US President Joe Biden has invited his Russian and Chinese counterparts Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping to a climate summit scheduled for April, in hopes of speeding up global efforts to cut carbon emissions, the White House said.

Putin and Xi were among the 40 leaders invited to the event, anonymous administration officials told reporters on Friday. Others on the list include some of the world’s “top climate-change sufferers, do-gooders and backsliders,” AP reported

“It’s a list of the key players and it’s about having some of the tough conversations and the important conversations,” the official said, speaking on background. “Given how important… this issue is to the entire world, we have to be willing to talk about it and we have to be willing to talk about it at the high levels.”

The presumably virtual summit is scheduled to start on April 22, also known as Earth Day. It was rumored two months ago, within days of Biden taking office and announcing the US would be rejoining the Paris Agreement his predecessor Donald Trump had repudiated.

Biden hasn’t personally talked to Putin and Xi about the summit but “they know they’re invited,” one member of the White House press corps tweeted on Friday.

The Democrat has made climate change one of his priorities in both domestic and foreign policy, blocking pipeline projects and fracking with executive orders in his first week in the White House. He also appointed John Kerry, former secretary of state and one of the architects of the Paris agreement, as his special envoy for climate change, with a seat on the National Security Council.

Having Biden’s first major interaction with the Russian and Chinese leaders be at a climate summit is somewhat awkward, however, considering his recent comments about both. During his first press conference on Thursday, Biden called Xi a “smart guy” who “doesn’t have a democratic bone in his body,” before going off on a tangent about the future being a struggle between autocracies and democracies.

China has already accused the US of being “the world’s largest polluter in history and the current largest polluter,” in the words of Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian from January.

Beijing has also said that China expects the US to “make up for the four-year gap” and “submit a strong nationally determined contribution and long-term low greenhouse gas emission development strategy under the Paris Agreement as soon as possible.”

Meanwhile, Russia has recalled its ambassador in Washington for consultations last week, after Biden called Putin a soulless killer in a TV interview. The Russian president responded by wishing his US counterpart good health and inviting him to a live on-air conversation, which the White House declined saying Biden was “too busy.”

The new US administration says it wants to achieve a zero-emissions energy grid by 2035 – without nuclear power – and net carbon-neutrality by 2050, but Biden has insisted this plan is not the 'Green New Deal' proposed by some progressive firebrands prior to the 2020 election.

Google exposes nine-month counter-terror hacking op by ‘friendly’ government, raising questions about what makes an ally

A Google hacking team has exposed — and shut down — an expert counterterrorism hacking operation by a supposed US ally. While the report hid most details, it raised troubling questions on what constitutes an ally in cyberspace.

The tech giant’s Project Zero and Threat Analysis Group hacking teams uncovered and ultimately put an end to a counter-terrorism operation being run by a US ally, according to MIT Tech Review, which detailed the internal struggle at Google over whether to publicize the incident and what it implied for future cyber-espionage (apparently, all’s fair in love, war, and malware attacks).

Both Project Zero, which uncovers and exposes security vulnerabilities, and Threat Analysis Group, which tracks hacks believed to be run by governments, helped take down the “friendly” malware attack, which weaponized 11 zero-day vulnerabilities in the course of nine months. A zero-day vulnerability is a flaw that the software’s creator and user are unaware exists, a security issue that can be used as a backdoor and otherwise exploited until it is discovered.

Cropping up 11 times in nine months – more frequently than a typical zero-day exploit – the attack targeted devices powered by iOS, Android, and Windows. The exploits were innovative (MIT described them as “never-before-seen techniques”) and used infected websites as “watering holes” to deliver malware to unfortunate visitors. The infection process had been ongoing since early 2020.

MIT revealed on Friday that the hackers running the scheme were “actually Western government operatives actively conducting a counter-terrorism operation,” an unusual revelation given that tracing hacks to state-level actors is not the easy-to-grasp, cut-and-dried operation that US cybersecurity firms like CrowdStrike and FireEye like to describe when they speak with reporters.

Indeed, while Google’s Threat Analysis Group attributes hacks to states, Project Zero does not, though private security companies have been working on the capability to reliably “link hostile actions with foreign actors” for the last decade – an ability that has recently become more reliable, according to a RAND Corporation paper published in September.

Indeed, Google seems to have only been told it was a counter-terror op in an effort to convince it to allow the hack to continue. Instead, the Google teams went ahead and squelched the attack, in a move that reportedly “caused internal division at Google,” as well as “rais[ing] questions inside the intelligence communities of the United States and its allies.”

While Google managed to get the hack shut down, its announcement released vanishingly few details about the attack itself – who was responsible for the hack, who was the target, and certain technical aspects of the malware and its hosting were left out in a manner that is considered highly atypical for a release by the Google teams, whose work is relied-on and revered across the industry.

An American cartoonist got his latest comic removed from Instagram as violating community guidelines. George Alexopoulos had merely put the words from the latest ‘woke’ episode of a children’s show… in the mouth of Adolf Hitler.

“Today’s comic was struck on Instagram,” Alexopoulos posted on Friday afternoon, adding, “how strange, as I was quoting Sesame Street verbatim.”

Instagram’s censorship of Alexopoulos’s original cartoon as encouraging “violence or attacks on anyone based on their religious, ethnic or sexual background” only served to prove his point about the content of the Sesame Street episode.

USA Today’s ‘Race and Inclusion’ Editor Fired for Tweeting ‘It’s Always an Angry White Man’ After Colorado Shooting

USA Today’s “Race and Inclusion” Editor Hemal Jhaveri has been fired for anti-white racist tweets following the Colorado mass shooting.

One of Jhaveri’s now-deleted tweets read, “It’s always an angry white man. Always.”

Of course, it was not a white man, but Ahmad Al Aliwi Al-Issa, an Islamic Arab man who was responsible for gunning down ten white people.

Jhaveri announced her firing in a whiny post on Medium.

“By Tuesday morning, after the shooter was identified as Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, several high profile alt-right Twitter accounts picked up the tweet as an example of anti-white bias and racism against whites. You can guess what happens next,” she wrote.

“There was social media outrage, threats and harassment towards me, and by the end of the day, USA TODAY had relieved me of my position as a Race and Inclusion editor,” the post continued.

Jhaveri took no responsibility for her racism, claiming the tweet was “a challenge to white supremacy” that was weaponized by “bad faith actors.”

“This is not about bias, or keeping personal opinions off of Twitter. It’s about challenging whiteness and being punished for it,” she moaned.

USA Today stood by their decision to fire the racist.

“USA TODAY was founded on the basis of diversity, equity and inclusion,” the spokesperson said in a statement to The Hill. “We hold our employees accountable to these principles both personally and professionally.”

DOJ Charges 474 With COVID-Related Fraud in the Past Year

The Department of Justice announced it has charged nearly 500 people with engaging in COVID-19 scams worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

“The Department of Justice (DOJ) has led a historic enforcement initiative to detect and disrupt COVID-19 related fraud schemes,” Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a news release on Friday, referring to the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus. “The impact of the department’s work to date sends a clear and unmistakable message to those who would exploit a national emergency to steal taxpayer-funded resources from vulnerable individuals and small businesses.”

The agency charged 474 defendants with engaging in criminally fraudulent schemes and attempted to obtain over $569 million from the federal government as well as unsuspecting victims.

“We are committed to protecting the American people and the integrity of the critical lifelines provided for them by Congress, and we will continue to respond to this challenge,” said Garland.

Since Congress passed the $2 trillion CARES Act last year, the agency has investigated claims related to COVID-19-related scams, including ones that bilked the Paycheck Protection Program, the Economic Injury Disaster Loans, and unemployment insurance out of money. Then-Attorney General William Barr instructed federal prosecutors investigate and prosecute fraud claims.

“We will not allow American citizens or the critical benefits programs that have been created to assist them to be preyed upon by those seeking to take advantage of this national emergency,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Brian M. Boynton of the Justice Department’s Civil Division in the release. “We are proud to work with our law enforcement partners to hold wrongdoers accountable and to safeguard taxpayer funds.”

The DOJ focused on one case in Texas involving an alleged fraudster, Dinesh Sah, who applied for 15 Payment Protection Program loans using 11 different companies before receiving more than $17 million in government loans, which were used to buy property, jewelry, a Bentley convertible, and other items. Sah has since pleaded guilty.

“To anyone thinking of using the global pandemic as an opportunity to scam and steal from hardworking Americans, my advice is simple—don’t,” said acting Assistant Attorney General Nicholas McQuaid of the DOJ’s Criminal Division. “No matter where you are or who you are, we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.”

In another instance, eight people in California applied for 142 Payment Protection and Economic Injury Disaster Loans seeking more than $21 million using fake identities and fake companies. They then laundered the fund via web bank accounts and purchased jewelry, securities, and real estate, according to the DOJ.
