7/10 - plane crash in Colorado on Saturday night - Update!
One dead: Lelon Lewis, 66
At approximately 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, the Air Force received an emergency signal from the single-engine Magnus Fusion 212’s beacon, according to Alpine Search and Rescue.
The plane was located approximately 20 miles south of Conifer in the area of Wigwam Creek Trail by Civil Air Patrol at 10:30 a.m.
Lelon Lewis was identified as the pilot Monday morning. His body was recovered by Alpine Search and Rescue several hours later due to the location of the crash.

The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call yesterday of a reported downed plane near the Salida Airport.
When deputies arrived, they found an unoccupied single engine airplane that had crash landed into a field. The plane sustained extensive damage but no passengers were located.
Chaffee County Search and Rescue was called in to look for potential passengers. None were found.
It was determined that the aircraft belonged to 64-year-old Lelon Lewis of Lakewood. Deputies contacted Lewis by phone who checking into a local hotel. Deputies contacted Lewis at the hotel and '''he said that he was the pilot but refused to provide and further details.
The investigation has been turned over to the Federal Aviation Administration'''.

TL;DR - same pilot of a suspicious crashed plane in 2019 died in a plane crash on 4/3/21 in Colorado.
