Apologies if this has been discussed in previous breads - it just strikes me as a bit odd. Padlocks on the car taking GM to court, I'm not a vehicular security expert or anything, but they look like a crowbar wouldn't have too much trouble removing them and if they need the security why not take her in a prison van? If the car is that unsecure that it needs padlocks to secure the doors then I doubt the windows would be able to withstand any serious attempt at breaking. Like I said don't know, just struck me as odd.
