Anon went to "town" yesterday. First time in the grocery store in a while. It's a small town but close enough to big city to be impacted by dumbasses. kek.
Anyway - I live on a ranch so "town days" are a thing here. And I was pleasantly surprised to see more than half the grocery store unmasked. All employees have to wear them, of course. And the old people do. Which, whatever. But none of the moms were. And this different. Before it was mostly the cowboys resisting. But the moms are done now too.
Just felt good. AND - all the masked people said hello to me. Just being neighborly. The tide has turned here. I will say that this town was never on board - they defied governor last year and held a graduation for the seniors. But there were plenty of Karens last summer. Gone now.
