I had to learn to separate the actions of the 'government industrial complex' from the soul/idea of our nation.

Make no mistake, there is an evil empire that has run roughshod over the world, using our nation and military to back it. That evil empire, however, is not the Constitution nor Americans. But they certainly want to try and stain America and our ideas with the identity of an evil empire.

If the evil empire wants to weaken itself by devolving into the cronyism that made other armies collapse just trying to mount a defense to a looming invasion… They're stupid.

I know others view this with great concern, but the military does not secure us from much. The oceans do most of that. If we need our military anywhere, it is to deny the british their subjects in Canada by annexing it, and to annex everything down to Panama while routing the CIA's cartels.

Maybe we go crazy and annex Australia as well, because we should freedomize civilizations we either have borders with or with which we at least share some cultural commonality. The ideas of republicanism and constrained government authority have zero parallels or relevant examples in the tribal lands outside the cities of Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc.

By contrast, obliterating a western colonial government and expressing ideas of limited government might go somewhere with civilizations used to the idea of due process.

Granted, we first seem to need to obliterate out own colonial government before implementing a constitutional republic, here in America. But, once we do, I am actually an advocate for regional imperialism. Annex Canada, because it's time to drop the act - then everything down to Panama in the interest of national security and making sane foreign policy decisions. Rather than trying to invade Russia by subverting their neighbors. Because, you know, that makes sense as a strategic goal - why are we stealth-invading Russia in the interest of Europe's energy economy? We have Alaska and large oil deposits in South America - not to mention our own deposits no one gets to tap into. No reason for us to fight Europe's wars with Russia.

Though, frankly, I think the only way Europe's cultures survive at their rate of islamic cucking is if Russia conquers their inept governments and throws the arabs back into the sand pit. Things are so bad in Europe that I actually think they would benefit both in terms economy and liberty if they were conquered by people interested in the region being productive. At this rate, Russia would likely deem an annexing of Europe to be an investment rather than a gain. Probably would have to pay them to do it.

When you start to ask what the difference between a virus and an exosome is, the whole house of cards of virology from about the 1990s onward begins to implode.

They got overconfident and stopped isolating pathogens. This created a massive misunderstanding about the role of viruses and why 'asymptomatic strains' exist.

Remember, most of the damage caused by viruses is actually caused by the body's reaction. Very few viruses cause significant tissue damage on their own. The inflammation, fever, and immune cell reactions cause far more problems.

Which is why most antivirals with success are immune suppressants. They temper the extreme swings in the body's immune system - controlling the mediation of cytokines.

Most of the illnesses we suffer from have been radically reduced by general hygeine and nutrition. So, I generally look at the need for vaccines with a bit of skepticism.

The history of medicine is a rather long one and deals with the treatment of people at some of their most vulnerable times, as well as dealing with various horrors that lurk. I go for the interpretation that we don't know as much as we think we do, and that the environment is ripe for self-fulfilling prophecies and confirmation bias to rule the text books.
