Pastor Peter has been filling in for Pastor Artur Pawlowski for the past three weeks while the contempt charges against Artur are being addressed in court. Worship has been conducted outdoors, with ample space for social distancing.

Last week, we learned that despite worship being held outdoors, Pastor Peter was served under the same May 6 injunction by Justice John Rooke, under which both Artur and Pastor Tim Stephens were arrested. The implication was clearly that if Peter proceeded with worship on Saturday, he would be subject to arrest. Despite the threats, worship proceeded as usual on Saturday morning, and things were eerily quiet on the police enforcement front. A sense of relief began to wash over everyone as the day went on.

That relief soon came to an abrupt halt. A police vehicle mounted the curb opposite the church, about 15 feet from me, while I was in the midst of filming. Given the traumatic arrests of two pastors in recent memory, my immediate thought was that they were coming for me next. I braced myself and continued filming. A small number of congregants, noticing the commotion, crossed the street to protest the police presence. Due to the horrendous escalation and targeted abuse of Christians by Calgary police, reportedly under the direction of Alberta Minister of Health Tyler Shandro, the response of peaceful worshippers to the sight of officers was a mix of defensiveness and fear. The immense damage that Calgary police have done to their reputation was palpable.

However, these officers could not have provided a starker contrast to the conduct of police in prior weeks. They calmly explained that they were only in the area as they had received a complaint from someone in the community and that they accordingly had to attend. They apologized for past experiences and ensured that they had no intention of interfering with worship. In fact, they had hoped to visit ongoing worship to say hi to everyone, but opted to abstain to avoid any perceived interruption.

The officers spoke with several attendees and answered all their questions courteously. One officer expressed a desire for a return to normalcy, lamenting neighbours being divided over the restrictions. The most ardent opponents of the police who were at first yelling at them rather quickly shifted to conversing with them, and by the end of the exchange, were even praying for the officers.

Pastor Artur has endured horrific treatment at the hands of police and prison guards, but he has insisted that when police officers conduct themselves honourably, we must hold them up as an example, as a counterpoint to their abusive colleagues.

The wickedness of Calgary police who targeted and persecuted pastors in Alberta is utterly reprehensible, and will not be easily forgotten. The Quebec curfew is finally over!

It's over, it's finally over! After almost five months the “four-week” curfew has finally come to an end!

Much like two weeks to flatten the curve has taken over 15 months (and counting), the Quebec curfew lasted for almost five months. The curfew was enforced with heavy-handed policing; if you were caught outside at night without valid paperwork to prove your exemption, and sometimes even if you had those papers, you got a $1,550 fine.

The curfew was arbitrary and served no purpose. All it established was that the political class had complete control over the people.

On the last night before it officially ended, I went out to speak with people about how they felt about the curfew and it finally being over.

I reviewed the past five months of what I saw, how the police treated myself and my Rebel colleagues when we were out filming and documenting the curfew. I was stopped more than 50 times and ticketed at least 12 times — and that number might even be higher, since I was told to expect more in the mail.

Charlottetown's city council has voted to permanently remove a statue of Canada's first prime minister.

The city's iconic seated statue of Sir John. A Macdonald in the historic home of Canadian Confederation on Prince Edward Island has been vandalized at least four times since last year. In June 2020, Charlottetown's city councillors voted to keep the statue on display at the entrance of Victoria Row, but resolved to include Indigenous leaders in an effort to tell the “full story”.

Charlottetown's city council has now voted to remove the statue permanently, following the recent discovery of the remains of 215 children buried at the site of a residential school in British Columbia.

Celebrations short-lived as Calgary police pay ANOTHER visit to Fairview Baptist Church

Friday, May 28 was a day of celebration for Pastor Tim Stephens. All charges of contempt of court that had been brought against him by Alberta Health Services were dropped. By Friday afternoon, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms issued a press release stating firstly that the May 6 injunction issued by Justice John Rooke did not apply to Pastor Tim Stephens, and secondly, that he had not been provided notice of the order prior to his arrest. Accordingly, the charges were rescinded.

Sadly, the celebrations were short-lived, as police found Pastor Tim Stephens at home on Saturday evening and served the May 6 order to him. Yes, the very same order pertaining to the charges they had dropped only one day prior.

Why would the authorities drop charges and then serve notice of the same order the very next day? Embarrassingly enough, the first time police alleged that Tim Stephens had been served, they had in fact served the wrong person, an individual bearing no resemblance to Tim Stephens at all.

Regardless of Alberta Health Services’ legal fumble, proper notification of the order was made on Saturday, and the potential for arrest was once again a reality for Pastor Tim.

Unsurprisingly, the threat of arrest was not going to stop Sunday worship. Obedience to God is a non-negotiable for Pastor Tim.

Worship took place at Fairview Baptist Church in Calgary, and the morning started off relatively quietly, until an Alberta Health Services representative, accompanied by two police officers, attempted to gain entry to the building during worship. Two brave young men politely requested that they come back after worship, and cited section 176(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada forbidding the disruption of worship.

Alberta Health Services lawyers and Calgary police eventually returned to their vehicles, where they remained until their departure sometime later. Despite being invited to enter the church after worship, they made no further attempts to enter the premises.

Interestingly, Pastor Artur Pawlowski happened to begin preaching downtown just prior to the departure of police from our location. We suspect that the officers may have left Fairview Baptist Church in order to proceed to Pastor Artur’s location.

In spite of the ongoing threat of arrest, there was another cause for celebration after worship. One of the church members graced Pastor Tim with a very generous gift. Pastor Tim, who along with his family has been through so much lately, was incredibly joyful at the surprise.

At a hearing on Friday, the Parole Board of Canada denied Zakaria Amara’s request for day parole, saying there is not sufficient proof he is fit to be allowed in public.

In their decision, the Board wrote that Amara still requires professional help to “address the future risk of harm related to terrorist activity” and recommends he be transferred to a minimum security institution.

“The Board felt the risk was unmanageable and the risk to public safety was still present,” the Parole Board wrote.

In 2006, Amara and 17 other men were arrested for plotting to bomb various high profile targets in Ontario. The plot was uncovered just before the bombs could be placed.

The homegrown terrorist group was inspired by al-Qaeda and Amara claimed he wanted to “take revenge for Canada’s involvement in Afghanistan.”

The attacks targeted many important locations, including the Toronto Stock Exchange, a Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) office and a military base. The group ultimately planned to blow up Parliament Hill and assassinate former Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Another member of the plot, Shareef Abdelhaleem, was granted day parole in December despite objections from his case management team.

The previous Harper government passed a law which allowed the government to strip citizenship from dual citizens convicted of terrorism. As a dual national of Canada and Jordan, Amara was one of those who saw their citizenships revoked.

However, in 2016, the Trudeau government enacted Bill C-6, a bill that protects dual-citizen terrorists from having their citizenship revoked. Shortly after, Amara’s Canadian citizenship was restored.

Cyber Attack Hits JBS Global Meat Processing Operations

JBS USA, the world's largest meat supplier, released a statement Sunday evening, saying it was the target of an "organized cybersecurity attack."

JBS, which has North America headquarters in Greeley, Colorado, said the cyber attack "affected some of the servers supporting its North American and Australian IT systems."

"The company took immediate action, suspending all affected systems, notifying authorities and activating the company's global network of IT professionals and third-party experts to resolve the situation," the statement continued. "The company's backup servers were not affected, and it is actively working with an Incident Response firm to restore its systems as soon as possible."

Industry website Beef Central said the attack already impacted two shifts and halted processing at one of Canada's largest meatpacking plants. Operations at all beef and lamb slaughterhouses in Australia ground to a halt, and some slaughtering and fabrication shifts have also been canceled in the U.S.

It's still unknown how the attack might impact consumers or if a meat shortage would be sparked. There is still no word on a timeline of when the JBS' systems will be completely restored.

Earlier in the month, hackers attacked the biggest U.S. gasoline pipeline operator, crippling East Coast energy infrastructure, which resulted in disrupted fuel flows, sending gasoline prices at the pump to multi-year highs. News of the hack led to panic hoarding by concerned folks.

This one-two punch of hacking incidents in the commodity industry shows that nothing is safe.

Space Junk Damages Part Of International Space Station

Amid fears of increasing space junk in low Earth orbit, a robotic arm attached to the International Space Station (ISS) has been damaged by space junk.

In a blog post, the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) said a routine inspection on May 12 uncovered a small, untrackable piece of space junk that struck Canadarm2, which is a Canadian robotic arm on ISS used to conduct station maintenance.

"Canadarm2 is continuing to conduct its planned operations," said the CSA. "The damage is limited to a small section of the arm boom and thermal blanket."

The statement also explained that NASA and CSA would work together to find out more about the impact. CSA said near-term robotic operations will continue as plan.

Over decades, debris from satellites, rockets, and other space devices has been locked in orbit. A lot of the junk is building up and could cause significant damage to the ISS and functioning satellites.

According to the CSA, "over 23,000 objects the size of a softball or larger are tracked 24/7 to detect potential collisions with satellites and the ISS." Yet as these items deteriorate and break apart, they produce smaller debris that can't be tracked, posing additional risk to space-based operations.

The European Space Agency (ESA) said many of these objects are accumulating rocket boosters, defunct satellites, and spaceborne shrapnel. It estimates up to 160 million objects measuring upwards of a millimeter are clogging up low Earth orbit.

In its annual 2020 report, ESA showed that the number of "fragmentation events" has soared over the last three decades.

Though these fragments may be small, they travel at thousands of miles per hour and can easily pierce satellites and other spacecraft, resulting in ESA and NASA calling for action against space debris.

Planned for 2025, the ESA recently awarded the Swiss startup company Clearpace, a $117 million contract, to remove space debris from orbit.

CHD also reported that over Memorial Day weekend, NY city officials sent covid mass-jabbing buses to area beaches.

The scheme aims to mind-manipulate unjabbed New Yorkers to get theirs.

Health Impact News explained that a “pop-up” clinic in Toronto, Canada’s Nathan Phillips Square lures children without parents to be covid jabbed by offering them free ice cream, adding:

New research shows that the coronavirus spike protein from COVID-19 vaccination unexpectedly enters the bloodstream, which is a plausible explanation for thousands of reported side-effects from blood clots and heart disease to brain damage and reproductive issues, a Canadian cancer vaccine researcher said last week.

“We made a big mistake. We didn’t realize it until now,” said Byram Bridle, a viral immunologist and associate professor at University of Guelph, Ontario, in an interview with Alex Pierson last Thursday, in which he warned listeners that his message was “scary.”

“We thought the spike protein was a great target antigen, we never knew the spike protein itself was a toxin and was a pathogenic protein. So by vaccinating people we are inadvertently inoculating them with a toxin,” Bridle said on the show, which is not easily found in a Google search but went viral on the internet this weekend.

Bridle, a vaccine researcher who was awarded a $230,000 government grant last year for research on COVID vaccine development, said that he and a group of international scientists filed a request for information from the Japanese regulatory agency to get access to what’s called the “biodistribution study.”

“It’s the first time ever scientists have been privy to seeing where these messenger RNA [mRNA] vaccines go after vaccination,” said Bridle. “Is it a safe assumption that it stays in the shoulder muscle? The short answer is: absolutely not. It’s very disconcerting.”

Vaccine researchers had assumed that novel mRNA COVID vaccines would behave like “traditional” vaccines and the vaccine spike protein — responsible for infection and its most severe symptoms — would remain mostly in the vaccination site at the shoulder muscle. Instead, the Japanese data showed that the infamous spike protein of the coronavirus gets into the blood where it circulates for several days post-vaccination and then accumulated in organs and tissues including the spleen, bone marrow, the liver, adrenal glands, and in “quite high concentrations” in the ovaries.

“We have known for a long time that the spike protein is a pathogenic protein. It is a toxin. It can cause damage in our body if it gets into circulation,” Bridle said.

The SARS-CoV-2 spike protein is what allows it to infect human cells. Vaccine manufacturers chose to target the unique protein, making cells in the vaccinated person manufacture the protein which would then, in theory, evoke an immune response to the protein, preventing it from infecting cells.

A large number of studies has shown that the most severe effects of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, such as blood clotting and bleeding, are due to the effects of the spike protein of the virus itself

“What has been discovered by the scientific community is the spike protein on its own is almost entirely responsible for the damage to the cardiovascular system, if it gets into circulation,” Bridle told listeners.

Lab animals injected with purified spike protein into their bloodstream developed cardiovascular problems, and the spike protein was also demonstrated to cross the blood brain barrier and cause damage to the brain.

A grave mistake, according to Bridle, was the belief that the spike protein would not escape into the blood circulation. “Now, we have clear-cut evidence that the vaccines that make the cells in our deltoid muscles manufacture this protein — that the vaccine itself, plus the protein — gets into blood circulation,” he said.

Bridle cited the recent publication of a peer-reviewed study which detected spike protein in the blood plasma of three of 13 young healthcare workers that had received Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine. In one of the workers, the spike protein circulated for 29 days.

ST. LOUIS, Missouri, May 31, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – A newly published study into the long-term effects of infection with COVID-19 has concluded that contracting the virus can give people cells that “produce antibodies for the rest of people’s lives” against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Commenting on the findings, the study’s principal author, Dr. Ali Ellebedy, Ph.D, said the presence of such antibody cells is “strong evidence for long-lasting immunity” against COVID-19, if one has been previously infected.

The study, titled “SARS-CoV-2 infection induces long-lived bone marrow plasma cells in humans” and published May 24 in the journal Nature, was conducted by a group of researchers at the Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM) in St. Louis. The team tracked the antibody development of 77 previously infected individuals, each of whom donated blood samples at three-month intervals from the first month after their infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The team discovered that, with mild infections, antibody levels were initially high but dropped steeply within a few months, remaining steady thereafter without disappearing entirely. In fact, according to the study, a small number of antibodies were still detectable after 11 months.

Ellebedy, associate professor of pathology and immunology at WUSM, explained that such a phenomenon is exactly what should be expected with a normal viral infection cycle and does not point to only a short-term immunity.

Blood antibody levels are principally made up of plasmablasts during a virus-induced immune response, forming a strong initial defense but lasting only a limited time. Antibody levels wane significantly after a virus has been successfully fought off, but crucially a number of the cells that create specific antibodies, known as long-lived plasma cells, are stored in the bone marrow.

After the initial infection, memory cells known as B-cells detect previously encountered viruses in the bloodstream. Most of the study participants had SARS-CoV-2 specific B-cells in the bloodstream seven months from the time of infection, according to the authors.

“It’s normal for antibody levels to go down after acute infection, but they don’t go down to zero; they plateau. Here, we found antibody-producing cells in people 11 months after first symptoms. These cells will live and produce antibodies for the rest of people’s lives. That’s strong evidence for long-lasting immunity,” Ellebedy said.

In fact, Ellebedy decried mainstream media outlets and scientific organizations for spreading an interpretation of low antibody data “to mean that immunity was not long-lived.” “But that’s a misinterpretation of the data,” the professor added.

Realizing that bone marrow plasma could demonstrate the long-term effect of COVID infection and whether immunity was gained, Ellebedy procured bone marrow samples from 18 of the 77 study participants approximately eight months after they first contracted COVID-19. Four months later, five of the 18 donors gave a second bone marrow sample. The study noted that 11 individuals who hadn’t previously contracted SARS-CoV-2 also gave bone marrow, acting as a control measure.

Fifteen of the COVID-positive donors were found to have the antibody-producing cells still present in their bone marrow, with the five who gave additional samples yet displaying the same antibody-producing cells four months later. Notably, the 11 COVID-negative donors did not display any antibody-producing cells in their bone marrow in the same period.

“People with mild cases of COVID-19 clear the virus from their bodies two to three weeks after infection, so there would be no virus driving an active immune response seven or 11 months after infection,” the researchers wrote.

June 1, 2021 (JCCF) – The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms will be in Federal Court today in Toronto, on behalf of eleven clients who are challenging the government’s policy of forcing returning Canadians into a federally approved hotel for quarantine at their own expense. The Applicants: Barbara Spencer, Sabry Belhouchet, Blain Gowing, Dennis Ward, Reid Nehring, Cindy Crane, Denise Thomson, Norman Thomson, and Michel Lafontaine, Steven Duesing and Nicole Mathis are represented by the Justice Centre’s Sayeh Hassan and Henna Parmar, who will be in court for three days arguing quarantine hotels are unconstitutional and a violation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Effective midnight on January 7, 2021, the federal government made an interim order via Transport Canada that proof of a negative COVID laboratory test result must be presented to an airline prior to boarding a flight to Canada. The test must be conducted within 72 hours of the traveller’s scheduled time of departure to Canada. A second announcement made on February 12, 2021 forced Canadians to have a second test on arrival and be quarantined three days in a federally approved hotel at their expense, while waiting for the results.

The new mandatory quarantine took effect on February 22, 2021. In a letter sent shortly afterward, the Justice Centre demanded that the Trudeau Government stop the practice immediately and release anyone they may be currently holding in federal quarantine. Canadian provinces have begun announcing their plans to reopen. Outside of Alberta, the other province's feature plans that do not actually feature an end to all restrictive measures.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski was celebrating his daughter’s baptism and birthday on Saturday. Shortly after we met with him for an interview, he and his daughter went to the grocery store to purchase a few essentials, and most importantly, a birthday/baptism cake. This should have been a routine trip, but the malice and anger that politicians and mainstream media have incited against Artur have made even his normal day-to-day activities a challenge.

You very likely saw that Pastor Artur’s property was subject to suspected arson a few weeks ago. He has also been subjected to threats, his church was vandalized — the list of abuses he has endured goes on, and that is before we even mention the horrific circumstances surrounding his arrest and imprisonment.

The malice towards Artur reached new and troublesome heights on Saturday, when a man approached Artur at the grocery store and began to verbally denigrate him in front of his daughter. Artur suspected the man might be suffering from mental illness, so he quickly paid for his goods and attempted to leave the store. Artur told us that as he was walking to his vehicle, the man charged at him, attacking him repeatedly in front of his daughter and punching him in the head. Artur is well-trained in martial arts, but the assailant was an older man. Artur feared he might injure him if he fought back, so he attempted to retreat repeatedly instead of striking. Artur photographed the attacker and his vehicle before the man left the scene.

Ultimately, Artur reported the incident to police, who asked if he would like to press charges. Artur requested that the man simply be issued a warning. He doesn’t want the guy's life turned upside down. Regardless of what he did, Artur forgave him.

Artur just wants to worship in peace.

Deceased individuals received $9.2 million in pandemic benefits

Canadians who died before the pandemic began in Canada received over $9.2 million in pandemic benefits last year.

First reported by Blacklock’s Reporter, Employment and Social Development Canada recently revealed that $9,208,500 in pandemic tax credits were paid out to people who had died before March 11, the day the World Health Organization declared a global pandemic.

The department says they will review the recipients of the tax credits to determine who needs to repay.

“The department will undertake a post payment review to determine whether there are any overpayments,” department staff wrote.

The payments occurred after parliament passed Bill C-20 An Act Respecting Further COVID-19 Measures, in July 2020 which gave $600 in tax credits to around 1.7 million qualifying Canadians.

In their report, government staff blamed the families of deceased individuals for not informing the government of their loved ones’ death.

“In some cases information for persons with disabilities may not have been up to date because the government did not receive the individual’s updated personal information,” staff wrote.

“Much like the need for clients to update their personal information with each department for their specific programs, death-related information would also need to be updated by relatives or the estate.”

Over the course of 2020, the federal government paid out huge sums in benefits to individuals which may not have been eligible. Employment Minister Carla Qualtrough has admitted that tax filing and repayments will be difficult for Canadians.

Last year, the government gave Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) to 824,000 people, even to individuals who were ineligible. Tens of thousands of people who earned over $100,000 in 2019 also received pandemic benefits.

Children between the ages of 15 and 18 also received $636 million through CERB, regardless of if they ever held a job.

Best selling author Abigail Shrier slammed the CBC as “incompetent” over a biased article about her book “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters.”

According to Shrier, CBC News failed to reach out to her for comment despite her book being at the centre of the controversy.

The article, “Pride breaks with Halifax libraries after controversial book kept on shelves,” was written by CBC journalist Haley Ryan. The piece centres on claims by trans activists and Halifax Pride painting Shrier’s work as “transphobic misinformation and hate speech.” CBC’s piece was last updated on Monday afternoon. True North was unable to access the article’s original text.

In recent weeks, activists have called for Shrier’s book to be removed from Halifax Public Libraries’ shelves. The library has rejected these calls, citing a commitment to “free access to information and ideas.”

In an email to True North, CBC spokesperson Chuck Thompson said that “no substantive edits” were made to the report.

“There were no substantive edits to the original story and we did not reach out to the author because the piece was about Pride and the Halifax Public Library’s decision to keep the book on the shelves,” said Thompson.

CBC’s Journalistic Standards and Practices include a commitment to “balance.”

“We contribute to informed debate on issues that matter to Canadians by reflecting a diversity of opinion. Our content on all platforms presents a wide range of subject matter and views,” the document says.

“On issues of controversy, we ensure that divergent views are reflected respectfully, taking into account their relevance to the debate and how widely held these views are. We also ensure that they are represented over a reasonable period of time.”

As a result of the announcement, Pride Halifax has stated that it will cut ties with the organization over its refusal to censor Shrier’s book.

Canadian news outlets have been unfair towards Israel in their coverage of the Israel-Hamas conflict, says former Israeli ambassador to the U.S. Michael Oren.

Oren appeared as a special guest at a lecture organized by pro-Israel advocacy group Honest Reporting Canada called “The Media War Against Israel” on Sunday.

The former ambassador said news outlets have been inaccurately using the term “disproportionate” when reporting on Israel’s response to the terrorist organization Hamas.

“Under international law, proportionate force is the force required to eliminate a threat,” said Oren. “And clearly with rockets still firing at the end of the war with Gaza, we have not eliminated the threat.”

The 2021 Israel-Hamas conflict began when Hamas began firing rockets into Israel from the Gaza strip. Hamas ultimately launched more than 4,000 rockets, 90% of which were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome defense system. Israel conducted about 1,500 strikes on Hamas targets. The tensions subsided after 11 days with a May 21 ceasefire.

Israel has been criticized for launching strikes that have civilian casualties, but Oren said Hamas does not invest any money in civil defense and actually seeks to have Israel kill people in Gaza.

He noted that this strategy leads to the unintentional killing of people in Gaza by Israel, Hamas can turn into public outrage to justify its attacks on Israel.

According to the former ambassador, despite Israel’s attempts to move trucks with food, construction materials and medicine into Gaza, Hamas intentionally maintains a humanitarian disaster to garner positive news coverage by international outlets.

The 2021 Israel-Palestine crisis has led to many Jewish people being victims of violence and hate crimes around the world, including in Canada. B’nai Brith Canada said the number of anti-Semitic assaults in May 2021 surpassed the total for all of 2020.

During the lecture, Honest Reporting Canada chairman Jonas Prince said progressives have been using coded language to show their disdain to Israel. One example Prince references is the slogan “from the river to the sea: Palestine will be free,” which means to eliminate Israel.

Prince said slogans such as these ones normalize anti-Semitism and as a result Jews are made to feel that they need to denounce their Zionism or face boycotting.

“This kind of crime for being a Jew I don’t think we’ve seen since the ‘30s,” said Prince.

Canada spent $624.2 billion on COVID-19 pandemic: report

A new report reveals that Canada spent more on the COVID-19 pandemic than it had during the entirety of World War II.

Estimates show that between March 2020 and April 2021, Canada spent $624.2 billion on pandemic initiatives.

When broken down, Canada spent an average of $1.5 billion a day for the entire year.

The study was conducted by the Toronto Star in association with economists from the University of Toronto, the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives and the Macdonald-Laurier Institute (MLI).

Canada’s spending surpassed World War II levels by December 2020. When taking into account inflation, the Second World War cost the country $252 billion at the time.

In 2021, the Trudeau government has already surpassed its 2019 commitment of $373.5 billion by 37%. According to estimates, $512.6 billion has already been dedicated towards pandemic programs in 2021.

“That’s money that’s gone forever. You can boost your income the following year, but the income you lost in 2020, that’s gone. That’s money for households, money for businesses, money for governments to pave roads and invest in health care,” MLI senior fellow Philip Cross told the Toronto Star.

“We’ve simply never seen anything like it. These are only the short-term costs. The cost of the pandemic, when all is said and done, will be much, much bigger.”

The study also found that in 2020, Canada’s economy took a 8.3% hit to its GDP totalling $2.31 trillion as of 2019.

Critics of the Trudeau government have claimed that the Liberal’s spending habits have led to life becoming more expensive for ordinary Canadians.

“Everything is getting more expensive under the current Liberal government. Inflation powered through the government’s target to a 10-year high. We now have proof: Lumber, houses and even food are increasingly expensive. Life is more expensive. Air Canada executives received $10 million in bonuses despite federal bailout

Air Canada executives and management were paid $10 million in bonuses along with share purchase options at a time when the company was negotiating a COVID-19 bailout package with the federal government.

According to CTV News, executives were awarded the “COVID-19 Pandemic Mitigation Bonus” for their “exceptional performance during this unprecedented period.”

The deal reached with Liberal government was called the “liquidity program” and it included $4 billion worth of loans from taxpayers.

Additionally, the airline company received a $500 million investment from the government and an additional $1.4 billion loan for customer refunds.

“This support comes with strict conditions to protect Canadian travellers, Canadians’ tax dollars and Air Canada’s workers,” said Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland when the bailout was first announced.

Early on in the pandemic, Air Canada’s CEO and CFO agreed to forgo their salaries to weather the pandemic.

“Despite this historically difficult year for Air Canada’s finances, our leaders helped the company and its shareholders weather the storm and keep the business in strong financial position while maintaining respect for our brand and what it represents for Canadians and global travelers. We believe we must retain and motivate our senior leaders to help Air Canada recover as quickly as possible, and you will see some compensation decisions to support those goals,” claimed a company document.

As of last March, Air Canada has shed at least half of its work force and is operating at a loss of $3.8 billion.

In response to the revelations, Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole claimed that while his party does favour support for the tourism and travel industry, he believes that funding should go directly to the frontline workers.

Canadian Doctor Tells RFK, Jr.: Many Patients Experiencing ‘Serious Injuries’ After Moderna Vaccine

Dr. Charles Hoffe told Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., on the “RFK Jr. The Defender Podcast,” British Columbia health officials threatened to take his medical license and forbid him from saying anything negative about the COVID vaccine.

Dr. Charles Hoffe never wanted to be in the spotlight, especially for talking about the adverse health effects of the COVID vaccine. But when patients began showing up at his office with “serious injuries,” he knew he had to speak out.

Hoffe works as a family physician at Lytton Medical Clinic in British Columbia, where 70% of his patients are Indigenous Canadians from the First Nations tribe.

Hoffe told Children’s Health Defense Chairman Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., on the “RFK Jr The Defender Podcast,” that First Nation patients who received the Moderna vaccine were experiencing adverse health effects including certain disabilities, shortness of breath and neurological problems.

Hoffe told Kennedy:

“Initially there were literally three that had disabilities from this, and this was now nine or 10 weeks since their shot. Some of them, for example, couldn’t open a jar anymore because both hands were so weak. There were some that had shortness of breath where they could previously walk two miles, now they can only walk a quarter mile. But most of them were neurological problems, loss of sensation, loss of strength and a major thing was chronic pain.”

Most of the side effects in people who received the Moderna vaccine began within 24 to 72 hours of receiving the shot, Hoffe said. Ten of his patients now have ongoing neurological issues or shortness of breath — three months after receiving the Moderna vaccine.

Alarmed by the number of adverse events following the COVID vaccine, Hoffe fired off an email to a group of local healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses and pharmacists, that said, “This is causing harm, should we be pausing this just to take stock?”

Within a few days, Hoffee had a meeting with local health authorities who accused him of causing “vaccine hesitancy” and threatened to report him to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, the licensing body for family doctors.

Government health authorities also told Hoffe he was forbidden from saying anything negative about the COVID vaccine.

“A broad consensus emerged out of the discussion between First Ministers on collaborative efforts to develop a proof of vaccine credential to enable international travel based on sound principles, including respect for provincial and territorial jurisdiction and privacy of health information,” said a news release based on a callout of a meeting between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the nation’s premiers held last Thursday.

Allison Kindle Pejovic, a lawyer for the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF), told LifeSiteNews that the Trudeau office’s statement is “concerning,” as it does not provide the public with confidence that “travel restrictions and potentially other lockdown measures will be lifted without a vaccine passport system in place.”

“Canadians have a Charter-protected mobility right to enter and leave the country, which is not subject to any qualification that Canadians undergo invasive medical procedures,” said Kindle Pejovic.

The meeting with Trudeau and the premiers included Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs Dominic LeBlanc, as well as Chief Public Health Officer of Canada Dr. Theresa Tam. It mostly focused on Canada’s COVID-19 response, but Trudeau stated that Canada could be “fully vaccinated by September.”

Meeting notes also indicate that the First Ministers “looked to the future and discussed how to safely reopen the economy,” as more Canadians “get vaccinated.”

“Highlighting the reopening plans that many provinces and territories have released, the Prime Minister and premiers spoke about next steps to ensure Canada is prepared to adjust border measures when it is safe to do so,” reads the news release.

In Canada, health is under the full authority of the provinces, meaning any such national “vaccine passport” program would need the buy-in of all provinces.

Canada’s Liberal government under Trudeau has to date not said with certainty one way or another whether it will implement a national COVID-19 “vaccine passport” system in Canada.

Trudeau’s latest remarks from the First Ministers meeting, however, is a sign that his government is one step closer to implementing some form of a “vaccine passport” for Canadians.

“Such a requirement would be wholly unnecessary, totalitarian, and not in accordance with a free society,” Kindle Pejovic countered.

In late February, Trudeau said that there were “pros and cons” to COVID-19 “immunity passports.”

In early March, Canada’s Health Minister Patty Hajdu said the government is “certainly working on the idea of vaccine passports” with its fellow G7 partners.

In late April, Trudeau said his government was working on “certificates of vaccination” for travel with its allies, saying they are to be “expected.”

Thus far, no premier in Canada, including Conservative ones in Alberta, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, have publicly spoken out against the idea of so called “vaccine passports.”

“Vaccine passports” are a “blatant violation of one’s personal autonomy”

In speaking with LifeSiteNews, JCCF lawyer Kindle Pejovic said that any requirement of a “vaccine passport” to allow Canadians to travel is a “blatant” infringement of one’s personal sovereignty.
