Every Saturday since the beginning of the pandemic lockdown, Edmontonians have been gathering at the legislature grounds to protest the restrictions on their civil liberties, their personal interactions and their businesses.

Last Saturday, approximately 150 people, including rodeo renegade Ty Northcott, gathered together to hear speeches, soak up the sun and embrace a little normalcy together outside.

Every week, these law-abiding people risk serious fines of up to $2,000 to show the politicians who occupy the legislature building that they want the lockdown to be over and they want their lives to go back to the old normal, not the “new normal.”

In a statement post to Twitter, Amos said he will be temporarily stepping down from his Parliamentary Secretary role and committee duties to seek acceptance.

This comes just weeks after Amos apologized for appearing nude on camera during a Zoom parliament meeting.

Amos has consistently evaded taking responsibility by blaming technical issues like not knowing his camera was on.

The Liberals are standing by their hotel quarantine program after a federal COVID-19 advisory panel recommended the government scrap it.

The recommendations came in the COVID-19 Testing and Screening Expert Advisory Panel’s fourth report, which deals with land and air border measures.

“The current requirement for all air travellers to quarantine in government-authorized accommodations should be discontinued,” wrote the panel.

“However, travellers subject to quarantine must provide a suitable quarantine plan for approval and then adhere to this plan. If the traveller does not have a suitable quarantine plan, they should be required to adhere to an alternative one (for example, in designated quarantine facilities).”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau first implemented the mandatory hotel-quarantine requirement for travellers landing in Canada on February 22. Since then, the program has been riddled with issues including several cases of sexual assault, inadequate food quality and reports of poor security measures.

In a statement released soon after the report’s publication, Health Minister Patty Hajdu wrote that current requirements including hotel quarantines “are working.”

“The Government of Canada will continue to monitor and review all available data and scientific evidence to inform future border and travel measures, and will be prudent in its approach, keeping the health and safety of Canadians top of mind. The Government of Canada will also consider the Panel’s recommendations to determine how testing and quarantine strategies should evolve to address vaccination status,” wrote Hajdu.

As reported by True North in March, Hajdu admitted that the Liberal government had insufficient data to justify the use of mandatory hotel quarantines when compared to at-home quarantines.

Additionally, the panel also recommended a plan to safely lift border restrictions as Canada moves out of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, the US-Canada border closure has been extended until at least June 21, 2021, however, both the US and Canada have indicated that they are in talks to discuss a reopening plan as vaccinations continue to proceed in both countries.

A German scientist may have found a solution to one of the biggest problems plaguing the global vaccine rollout: the rare but sometimes deadly blood clots seen in some vaccinated patients who received the AstraZeneca-Oxford jab. A team of scientists in Germany believes it has pinpointed the cause of these blood clots, which can be eliminated with a relatively easy tweak.

According to the FT, Rolf Marschalek, a professor at Goethe University in Frankfurt who has been leading studies into the rare condition since March, said his research showed the problem was related to the adenovirus vectors that both the AstraZeneca vaccine and the J&J vaccine use to deliver the genetic instructions for the spike protein of the Sars-Cov-2 virus into the body.

Here's how Marschalek explained it to the FT.

The delivery mechanism means the vaccines send the DNA gene sequences of the spike protein into the cell nucleus rather than the cytosol fluid found inside the cell where the virus normally produces proteins, Marschalek and other scientists said in a preprint paper released on Wednesday. Once inside the cell nucleus, certain parts of the spike protein DNA are spliced, or split apart, creating mutant versions, which are unable to bind to the cell membrane where important immunisation takes place. The floating mutant proteins are instead secreted by cells into the body, triggering blood clots in roughly one in 100,000 people, according to Marschalek’s theory. In contrast, mRNA-based vaccines, such as the jabs developed by BioNTech/Pfizer and Moderna, deliver the spike’s genetic material to the cell fluid and it never enters the nucleus. “When these . . . virus genes are in the nucleus they can create some problems,” Marschalek told the Financial Times.

The rare blood-clotting reaction has disrupted the rollout of the AstraZeneca and J&J shots in the UK, where officials recorded 309 cases of clots out of 33MM people who have received the AstraZeneca vaccine (Ultimately these caused 56 deaths), and in Europe, where at least 142 people have experienced the blood clots out of 16MM recipients of the vaccine.

Use of the AstraZeneca jab has been restricted or suspended in more than a dozen countries. J&J began the rollout of its vaccine in Europe by including a warning label on its jabs noting the possibility of blood clots.

Marschalek has already presented his lab findings to the German government's Paul-Ehrlich Institute as well as to the advisory body on vaccination and immunization.

However, at least one rival scientists has raised questions about Marschalek's process.

"There is evidence missing to show the causal chain from the splice….of the spike protein to the thrombosis events," said Johannes Oldenburg, professor of transfusion medicine at the university of Bonn. "This is still a hypothesis that needs to be proven by experimental data."

Fortunately, Marschalek believes there is a straightforward "way out" for AstraZeneca and J&J if they can modify the gene sequence that codes for the spike protein. If the vaccine developers can modify this to prevent it from splitting apart, they might be able to eliminate the risk of blood clots altogether.

J&J has already contacted Marschalek’s lab and has reportedly asked for guidance as it attempts to modify the vaccine. However, rival scientists have insisted that more research might be needed.

Project Veritas on Monday released video of two Facebook insiders blowing the whistle on the social media giant’s effort to secretly censor Covid vaccine concerns on a global scale.

The documents obtained by Project Veritas show Facebook’s efforts to curb “vaccine hesitancy” or “VH” in comments.

One whistleblower told James O’Keefe that Facebook uses classifiers in their algorithms to determine certain content, to be what they call “vaccine hesitant” (screenshot below) without the users knowledge.

“They assign a score to these comments that’s called the VH score, the “vaccine hesitancy” score,” the whistleblower said. “And then based on that score will demote or leave the comment alone depending on the content within the comment.”

The whistleblower, Morgan Kahmann, a data center technician for Facebook, revealed himself and went on the record after the social media company suspended him.

“I was at work and I got a message from my supervisor out of the blue basically saying, ‘Go ahead and wrap up your area and clean up your stuff, gather your personal belongings and meet me in a meeting room in the lobby of the building,’” Kahmann told James O’Keefe in a video released on Thursday. “They’re basically going to have me meet with the investigative team and grill me on the whole situation.”

“To me [getting fired] far outweighs that because it’s about more than me. It’s about really everyone in the world,” Kahmann said.

A coroner will consider if the cause of BBC presenter Lisa Shaw’s death might have been complicated by her having had the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine.

Her family said the 44-year-old was treated for blood clots days after her first jab. She died on Friday.

An interim fact-of-death certificate lists the vaccine as one of the possible factors being considered.

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) said vaccine benefits exceed risks for most people.

The BBC has seen the interim fact-of-death certificate issued by Newcastle’s senior coroner Karen Dilks.

It confirms an investigation into Ms Shaw’s death will be held and lists a “complication of AstraZeneca Covid-19 virus vaccination” as a consideration.

The document does not determine a cause of death – that will not be issued until the investigation has been completed.

The BBC Radio Newcastle presenter was not known to have any underlying health problems.

In a statement, Ms Shaw’s family said: “Lisa developed severe headaches a week after receiving her AstraZeneca vaccine and fell seriously ill a few days later.

“She was treated by the RVI’s [Royal Victoria Infirmary] intensive care team for blood clots and bleeding in her head.

“Tragically she passed away, surrounded by her family, on Friday afternoon. We are devastated and there is a Lisa-shaped hole in our lives that can never be filled. We will love and miss her always.

“It’s been a huge comfort to see how loved she was by everyone whose lives she touched, and we ask for privacy at this time to allow us to grieve as a family.”

An MHRA spokesperson said: “We are saddened to hear about the death of Lisa Shaw and our thoughts are with her family.

“As with any serious suspected adverse reaction, reports with a fatal outcome are fully evaluated by the MHRA, including an assessment of post-mortem details if available.

“Our detailed and rigorous review into reports of blood clots occurring together with thrombocytopenia is ongoing.”

The number of reported adverse events following COVID vaccines surpassed 200,000 according to data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The data comes directly from reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

VAERS is the primary government-funded system for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S. Reports submitted to VAERS require further investigation before a causal relationship can be confirmed.

Every Friday, VAERS makes public all vaccine injury reports received as of a specified date, usually about a week prior to the release date. Today’s data show that between Dec. 14, 2020 and May 14, a total of 227,805 total adverse events were reported to VAERS, including 4,201 deaths — an increase of 144 over the previous week — and 18,528 serious injuries, up 1,338 since last week.

This week’s data showed 943 total adverse events, including 23 rated as serious, among 12- to -17-year-olds.

In the U.S., 268.4 million COVID vaccine doses had been administered as of May 14. This includes 115 million doses of Moderna’s vaccine, 144 million doses of Pfizer and 9 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) COVID vaccine.

Of the 4,201 deaths reported as of May 14, 23% occurred within 48 hours of vaccination, 16% occurred within 24 hours and 38% occurred in people who became ill within 48 hours of being vaccinated.

This week’s VAERS data show:

20% of deaths were related to cardiac disorders.

54% of those who died were male, 44% were female and the remaining death reports did not include gender of the deceased.

The average age of death was 74.7 and the youngest deaths reported include two 15-year-olds (VAERS I.D. 1187918 and 1242573 ) and a 16-year-old (VAERS I.D. 1225942). There were other reported deaths in children under 16 that could not be confirmed or contained obvious errors.

As of May 14, 1,140 pregnant women reported adverse events related to COVID vaccines, including 351 reports of miscarriage or premature birth.

Of the 2,275 cases of Bell’s Palsy reported, 51% were reported after Pfizer-BioNTech vaccinations, 42% following vaccination with the Moderna vaccine and 192 cases, or 10%, of Bell’s Palsy cases were reported in conjunction with J&J.

There were 195 reports of Guillain-Barré Syndrome with 40% of cases attributed to Pfizer, 38% to Moderna and 26% to J&J.

There were 65,854 reports of anaphylaxis with 38% of cases attributed to Pfizer’s vaccine, 51% to Moderna and 11% to J&J.

There were 3,758 reports of clotting disorders and other related conditions. Of those, 1,468 reports were attributed to Pfizer, 1,093 reports to Moderna and 1,093 reports to J&J.

COVID vaccines may not work for millions with underlying conditions As The Defender reported May 19, some experts are questioning the CDC’s recommendation that immunocompromised people get vaccinated after new research showed 15% to 80% of people with underlying health disorders and those on immunosuppressive medications mount few, if any, antibodies to COVID vaccines.

Yet, current CDC guidelines indicate those with compromised immune systems should be vaccinated for COVID even though “no data are available to establish COVID vaccine safety and efficacy in these groups” as people with compromised immune systems or those who take immunosuppressants for a medical condition were largely excluded from vaccine clinical trials.

Dr. Meryl Nass, an internal medicine physician, said it’s the responsibility of the CDC to determine the risks and benefits of every vaccine for different groups of people. For COVID vaccines, Nass said, the CDC has failed to publish that information, or tell the public which groups might be at a higher risk of suffering an adverse reaction that far outweighs any potential benefit.

A new study reveals reviewers of VAERS adverse event reports counted a significant proportion of 'serious' reactions to the Gardasil HPV vaccine as 'non-serious,' thus skewing the vaccine’s safety profile.

May 28, 2021 (Children’s Health Defense) – Most people are unaware that many newly licensed vaccines are in phase 4 clinical trials when they become publicly available. In the case of the new COVID vaccines, which have not yet been licensed, consumers are unknowing subjects in a massive clinical trial.

The complete safety profile of a vaccine is unknown at the time of widespread use. The safety profile becomes more clear only after injuries and deaths related to the vaccine are reported. The safety profile of COVID vaccines, for instance, is still evolving as injuries and deaths accumulate.

It is thus crucially important that consumers and medical professionals report adverse events related to vaccines. According to studies, however, they report only about 1%.

Since 1990, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has tracked reports of vaccine injuries and deaths. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) co-manage the system, and subcontract work to General Dynamics, a global private aerospace and defense company.

VAERS is a passive reporting system. While the CDC website states healthcare workers are “required by law” to report certain adverse events and “strongly encouraged” to report others, there is no penalty if they fail to report, and no real incentive to do so.

Still, the CDC acknowledges VAERS is the frontline of defense in vaccine safety surveillance because initial safety assessments trigger further investigation and determination of causality.

When VAERS receives a report, its first step is to decide whether the event is “serious” or “non-serious” based on criteria in the Code of Federal Regulations. VAERS reviewers then categorize the report according to specific symptoms from the Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) and record them.

If reviewers incorrectly rate an event as “non-serious,” they cease further investigation. If serious adverse events with severe symptoms happen frequently, then reviewers undertake a more rigorous inquiry.

Serious reactions to Gardasil HPV vaccine underreported, study shows

How accurately do the reviewers of VAERS reports distinguish “serious” from “non-serious” adverse events?

When it comes to Merck’s Gardasil HPV vaccine, the answer is “not very,” according to the authors of an article published in the peer-reviewed journal, Science, Public Health Policy, and The Law.

Based on an FDA/CDC post-licensure safety surveillance report for Gardasil, VAERS reviewers determined a 6.2% rate of serious adverse events. Because VAERS reports are publicly available, the authors randomly selected 2,000 reports from those referenced in the FDA/CDC study for independent review. They discovered an alarming pattern of mislabeling “serious” cases as “non-serious.”

The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 314.80, which defines “serious adverse event,” includes within that definition “a persistent or significant disability or incapacity.” Yet according to the authors of the study, VAERS reviewers for Gardasil’s HPV vaccine, despite being required by law to include that specific adverse event, excluded it from both in their reports and on the VAERS reporting form.

In fact, many reports of adverse events following Gardasil vaccination involve persistent or significant disability or incapacity.

A panel of independent, licensed physicians rated VAERS cases as to whether they were “serious” based on the FDA/CDC and also based on the CFR definitions.

Using the FDA/CDC definition, physicians rated 12% of the cases “serious.” However, when they applied the CFR definition, they rated more than 24% “serious” — nearly four times the FDA/CDC metric.

The FDA/CDC study states: “The VAERS reporting rate for qHPV is triple the rate for all other vaccines combined.”

This injury rate should have alarmed agency officials. Yet no alarm went off. According to the FDA/CDC report, Merck supplied almost 70% of the adverse event reports for Gardasil injuries. This was odd, as the number of adverse events submitted by Merck for other vaccines it manufactures was much lower.

The 70% figure was even more peculiar because almost every Gardasil adverse event report Merck filed failed to provide enough information for authentication or follow-up.

MENLO PARK, California, May 28, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – Following recent mainstream media reports giving credence to the much maligned theory that COVID-19 was created in a Wuhan laboratory, Facebook has changed its “misinformation” policy and will no longer censor or remove posts which affirm the China lab-leak origin, POLITICO reported.

Back in February, Facebook announced that it was “expanding” its already broad censorship policy to “remove false claims on Facebook and Instagram about COVID-19, COVID-19 vaccines and vaccines in general during the pandemic.” Part of the heightened push included removing posts that contained claims deemed to have been “debunked by public health experts,” according to the social media giant.

Following a consultation with the World Health Organization (WHO), Facebook proceeded to enact a policy whereby claims that “COVID-19 is man-made or manufactured” would be deleted, making it virtually impossible for users to share scientific material suggesting that the virus was created in a lab. They also blacklisted claims that “vaccines are not effective at preventing the disease they are meant to protect against; it’s safer to get the disease than to get the vaccine; vaccines are toxic, dangerous or cause autism,” despite any evidence to support those conclusions.

Now, with outlets like the Wall Street Journal and even The White House suggesting that the virus could well have originated in a Wuhan lab, Facebook decided that what was previously regarded as conspiratorial nonsense is not misinformation, after all.

“In light of ongoing investigations into the origin of COVID-19 and in consultation with public health experts, we will no longer remove the claim that COVID-19 is man-made from our apps,” a spokesman for the tech giant announced Wednesday. “We’re continuing to work with health experts to keep pace with the evolving nature of the pandemic and regularly update our policies as new facts and trends emerge.”

Earlier this month, a group of 18 scientists, including prominent immunologists, biologists, and epidemiologists, emphasized the need for more investigations into the beginnings of the coronavirus. “We must take hypotheses about both natural and laboratory spill-overs seriously until we have sufficient data,” the group wrote in a letter to the journal Science.

The scientists said that the WHO, working in conjunction with a group in China, formed a team to investigate the origins of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in May 2020. Six months later, “there were no findings in clear support of either a natural spill-over or a lab accident.” However, “the team assessed a zoonotic spill-over from an intermediate host as ‘likely to very likely,’ and a laboratory incident as ‘extremely unlikely,’” the scientists wrote.

One of the 18-strong group, Dutch computational biologist Professor Erik van Nimwegen told the Telegraph that, despite widespread media reports giving rise to an impression of consensus against the lab-leak theory, “there is no solid scientific basis for such dismissal.”

The possibility of a man-made origin “has hardly been investigated at all — not in the least because relevant information has simply not been made available to the international scientific community,” van Nimwegen said.

Based on the group’s assessment that “greater clarity about the origins of this pandemic is necessary and feasible to achieve,” they suggested that “[a] proper investigation” ought to be launched, taking care to be “transparent, objective, data-driven, inclusive of broad expertise, subject to independent oversight, and responsibly managed to minimize the impact of conflicts of interest.”

(Natural News) A publicly-available FDA “fact sheet” document reveals that 86% of children who participated in a Pfizer covid vaccine trial reported adverse reactions ranging from “mild” to “serious.”

As part of the vaccine experiments, children aged 12 to 15 are being injected with mRNA sequences that take control of their cells, causing them to churn our spike proteins in their blood. Spike proteins cause vascular disease and blood clots. Even the Jonas Salk Institute conclusively identifies spike proteins as the culprit behind vascular disease and blood clots.

This is all openly admitted by the FDA, which has published extremely disturbing reports of adverse reactions experienced by children in a Pfizer covid vaccine “fact sheet” labeled 144413. See the original FDA document here (PDF).

FDA admits mRNA vaccines cause adverse reactions in 86% of children, but calls it “safe” anyway

This Pfizer page at the FDA provides links to all the fact sheets and press releases where the FDA celebrates expanding its emergency use authorization to children aged 12 to 15.

That fact sheet contains the following table that details the alarming rate of side effects and damage experienced by 12 – 15 year olds (i.e. children) who were given the mRNA injections:

As you can see from the table, 1127 children were given the first dose of the vaccine, and 1097 children received the second dose. What happened to the 30 children who didn’t show up for the second dose? Did they die? Why were they removed from the second dose?

Among those children injected with the mRNA vaccine medical experiment:

A shocking 86% experienced side effects.

Nearly 44% suffered “moderate” side effects defined as “interfering with activity.”

66% of the children experienced fever.

65% suffered headaches.

Other side effects experienced by these children as part of these medical experiments include chills, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, muscle pain and even joint pain.

Even after 86% of children experienced such side effects after being injected with the first dose, researchers continued to inject the children with a second dose.

The FDA claims this is all about “protecting” children while pushing more vaccine sales to generate billions of dollars in profits for Pfizer

The FDA claims in its celebratory press release that expanding Pfizer’s experimental vaccine to 12 to 15-year-olds is a kind of breakthrough, not a crime against children:

“The FDA’s expansion of the emergency use authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine to include adolescents 12 through 15 years of age is a significant step in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Acting FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock, M.D. “Today’s action allows for a younger population to be protected from COVID-19, bringing us closer to returning to a sense of normalcy and to ending the pandemic. Parents and guardians can rest assured that the agency undertook a rigorous and thorough review of all available data, as we have with all of our COVID-19 vaccine emergency use authorizations.”

In other words, the FDA is admitting they are fully aware of the 86% side effect rate when it comes to injecting children with experimental mRNA “vaccines.”

BREAKING: Contempt of court proceedings DROPPED against Pastor Tim Stephens

Alberta Health Services (AHS) has dropped a Contempt of Court Application against Pastor Tim Stephens of Calgary's Fairview Baptist Church.

According to a press release from Pastor Tim's legal team with the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms,

Lawyers for the Justice Centre, Leighton B.U. Grey Q.C. and James S. M. Kitchen, brought an Application to Strike the Contempt Application after discovering that AHS never served Pastor Stephens with the court order he was accused of having violated, a requirement under the order. Faced with this undeniable evidence, AHS has conceded that continued prosecution and attempts to have Pastor Stephens found in contempt of court are hopeless. This drops the case against Pastor Stephens completely.

Pastor Tim was first arrested and jailed after conducting a church service on May 16, allegedly in violation of a May 6 court injunction issued against Chris Scott of the Whistle Stop Cafe, Glen Carritt and unnamed Jane and John Does.

On Sunday, May 24, Rebel News reporter Kian Simone was in Calgary to film an Abolish/Defund The Police rally, where he ran into Pastor Peter Reicher.

Peter has recently taken over Artur Pawlowski's pastoral duties at the Street Church, and he was downtown to feed the homeless when he was served paperwork that referenced an out-of-date May 6 court order.

The order handed to Pastor Peter, which included the names of Whistle Stop Cafe owner Chris Scott, Glen Carritt and unnamed Jane and John Does, was issued to limit attendance at “illegal public gatherings.”

But lawyers with the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms had that order amended last week!

Here's what Pastor Peter told Kian about the order he received:

I came down to the streets, to Street Church, today to volunteer my services to feed the homeless, help minister, help bring a prayer, bring a word of encouragement to anyone who needed it — and they served me!

They served me with this order that was for the Whistle Stop… Chris Scott, Glen Carritt and and the famous Jane and John Doe.

So this was an order that was put May 6, it was amended May 13, and then here we have another date — [May 18], in which the police officer just notified me that Jane and John Doe are back on the list.

Parents, teachers demand Vancouver School Board ban vaccines for children without parental consent

Frustrated parents across the U.S. have recently been flooding into school boards, even taking their meetings over entirely, to demand the cessation of things like forced masking and race-shaming critical race theory in school.

On May 26, the Vancouver School Board had its own brush with a pack of parents demanding their right to consent to what happens to their children in public schools. Approximately 50 people entered the school board meeting to demand answers to their questions and concerns, mostly surrounding the real possibility that their children could be given the COVID-19 vaccine without parental consent.

The concerns of the crowd came after B.C.’s government announced that children aged 12 and up can receive Pfizer-BioNTech’s — FDA approved for emergency use only — vaccine, with or without parental consent. The B.C. Teachers Federation has also said that schools are a better place for children to be vaccinated, rather than community clinics.

“Our children are not lab rats! If many parents do not consent to this dangerous act, we should be able to choose and not be coerced. It is unacceptable for anyone on school grounds to impose it on our children behind our backs and bribe them with candy, toys, peer pressure and even teacher’s threats,” says Hila Russ-Woodland, the Vancouver based teacher and mother who organized the impromptu protest.

Russ-Woodland and other protesters say they are tired of not getting answers to the questions they say they have brought forward to the school board, and will now be serving notice of liabilities to school faculty members who could be involved in vaccinating their children without parental consent.

Canadian Armed Forces member charged with mutiny after speaking against vaccines

A member of the Canadian Armed Forces has been charged with mutiny for speaking out against the COVID-19 vaccine and urging colleagues to not help with distribution.

Officer Cadet Ladislas Kenderesi has been charged with one count of persuading another person to join in a mutiny and one count of behaving in a scandalous manner unbecoming of an officer, according to the Ottawa Citizen.

Kenderesi was filmed at an anti-lockdown rally in Toronto on Dec. 5, 2020, where he spoke of “poison” vaccines to other service members.

“I'm asking military right now who are serving: truck drivers, medical, engineers, whatever you are — do not take this unlawful order in distribution of this vaccine," the speaker said. "I might be in a lot of s*** for doing this, but I don't care anymore.”

Supporters of Kenderesi have launched a crowdfund for his legal fees, claiming that he was speaking out against what they called “experimental gene therapy” during the event.

“I'm just saying a small prayer for myself, and a prayer for Canada and Canadians, that hopefully, my efforts and what I have done is not in vain,” Kenderesi stated in a video attached to the GoFundMe page, which has also been deleted.

Rory Fowler, a retired lieutenant-colonel, and lawyer claimed the clip stunned military members.

“There was near-universal condemnation and bewilderment at the things that he was saying and how he was portraying himself,” Fowler said.

Kenderesi will be subject to a court-martial, which Fowler stated he does not expect the process to begin until late 2021, or early 2022.

Fowler and Christian Leuprecht, a professor at the Royal Military College of Canada and Queen's University said the charge of mutiny came as a surprise, with Fowler admitting that he could not recall the charge being imposed since the 1950s.

Under the country’s military law, mutiny carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, but Fowler claims this is unlikely, and that Kenderesi will most likely be fined.

Federal government manager fired for helping daughter get hired twice

A manager in the office of Employment and Social Development Canada has been fired after she twice helped her daughter get a job in the department without disclosing their relationship.

First reported by the Ottawa Citizen, the federal labour relations and employment board recently rejected Christine Petit’s appeal of her 2017 termination. Petit was her daughter’s direct supervisor for nine months before the relationship was revealed.

In 2016, Petit recommended her daughter for a three-month position in Employment and Social Development Canada, with the hiring committee accepting her because of the recommendation.

Before the position expired, Petit again recommended her daughter, this time for a one-year position. Petit signed declarations that stated she was not related to the candidate.

In her decision, adjudicator Nathalie Daigle ruled that management was justified in firing Petit.

“Even though she explained that she failed to disclose (the relationship) to ensure that she would obtain assistance quickly given the scale of the tasks she had to complete, nevertheless, she granted preferential treatment to a family member,” Daigle wrote.

“The grievor’s conduct went contrary to basic principles about the integrity of employees and of the federal public sector as a whole.”

In her defense, Petit stated that the department was desperate to fill the position and her daughter was the only qualified candidate she knew. As financial manager, Petit was dealing with the fallout of the Phoenix pay system disaster.

While Petit claimed she did not personally benefit from her daughter’s employment, Daigle noted that a manager having their child work under them has obvious benefits.

“Although the grievor made the point that she did not benefit personally from her alleged behaviour, my view is that I cannot accept it as a mitigating factor,” Daigle wrote.

“In my view, the evidence demonstrated that hiring her daughter was a quick and practical solution for her, so she certainly did benefit personally from it. In addition, she also provided a financial and professional benefit to her daughter.”

Employees with the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) were given a 2.8% raise for 2018, an additional 2.2% increase for 2019 and a 1.35% raise for last year.

Liberal MP and President of the Treasury Board Jean-Yves Duclos said that Canadians are capable of bearing the cost of the salary increase for public sector employees.

On Thursday, Conservative MPs Nelly Shin and Kenny Chiu lashed back against accusations of anti-Asian racism levelled by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau against the official opposition earlier this week.

On Wednesday, Trudeau lectured Conservatives about “anti-Asian racism” and “tolerance” in response to being grilled on what he’s doing to protect Canadian research institutions from Chinese interference.

Recent reports have revealed that at least seven scientists employed at Winnipeg’s National Microbiology Laboratory were collaborating with an organization affiliated with China’s People’s Liberation Army on classified infectious disease research while in Canada.

“As members know, the official opposition has been questioning the Prime Minister on the topic of security at Canada’s top microbiology lab and the partnership of scientists with ties to the Chinese military. Instead of addressing this important issue, the Prime Minister made accusations of racism against those members asking these vital questions of national interest,” said Shin during a point of order in the House of Commons.

“In addition to the Prime Minister casting aspersions upon members of this House who are only trying to do their job, I find it offensive that the Prime Minister is diminishing the significance of the anti-Asian crisis in Canada by using it to deflect attention away from an unrelated political issue of national security.”

Shin ended her comments by calling on the prime minister to apologize for his “divisive and destructive” remarks.

Additionally, Chiu accused the prime minister of hiding behind anti-Asian racism as a way to avoid being accountable for his handling of Canadian research security.

“Mr. Speaker, the Prime Minister suggested that asking questions about the threat from China’s government is anti-Asian racism. I am an Asian-Canadian and I am deeply offended by this. How dare the wearer of blackface and brownface use the painful experience of racism to shield this government’s callous dereliction to protect Canada from hostile foreign regimes?” said Chiu.

“Pointing that out is not racism. Suggesting otherwise plays into the propaganda effort of our opponent. That is something of great concern in my home of Richmond. To see our national leadership downplay these concerns is simply shameful. Many critics of the CPP are of Asian descent themselves, either born as equal partners in Canada or having joined the equal partnership as immigrants.”

Ontario pastors to hold outdoor worship rally in Waterloo

A group of Ontario pastors is taking worship to the streets.

Four outspoken pastors, Jacob Reaume, Aaron Rock, Nate Wright, and Michael Thiessen, are planning to host a Worship in the Square in Waterloo, Ont.’s Town Square Sunday afternoon.

The event is advertised as an open-air church service, with all four men offering to minister to attendees.

Three of the four have faced huge fines for presiding over church services throughout Ontario’s lockdown, with the provincial government succeeding in getting a court order to lock one of them out, Trinity Bible Chapel, of their building.

“We decided on this because we have been prohibited from leading services in our church buildings and we desire to maintain a public witness to the glory of Christ. We also believe that people will be blessed by singing together, by praying together, and by exchanging warm greetings with one another in that context,” Trinity’s pastor, Reaume, told True North.

In Ontario, indoor and outdoor religious services have a gathering limit of 10 people.

According to the government, if the rules for gatherings are not followed, organizers may be fined $10,000 and each attendee may receive a $750 ticket. The government has also given enforcement personnel the right to break up the gathering and temporarily close the premises.

The pastors have been all critical of Ontario’s restrictions on religious services, with the men and their congregations making national headlines for defying public health orders.

“It is certainly an act of protest,” Reaume added.

“The emphasis of the time will be on Jesus Christ, His supremacy, and the free grace He offers to all peoples. “

In early May, a judge ruled that Trinity Bible Chapel should be locked indefinitely, until public health orders allow it to operate.

Speaking on The Andrew Lawton Show, Reaume said his church collectively received approximately $50 million worth of fines.

In December, Rock, of Harvest Windsor, was charged for holding an in-person service that allegedly violated the Reopening Ontario Act (ROA).

In January, Thiessen of Grace Alliston was also charged under the ROA for holding an unrestricted service as a protest against public health orders.

Thiessen also organized and led a campaign to encourage churches to open for worship on Good Friday and Easter Sunday regardless of provincial restrictions. In total, 79 churches in nine provinces joined in his campaign.

Waterloo Town Square has been the site of regular demonstrations against public health orders. A previous anti-lockdown rally hosted by Pastor Reaume and Independent MPP Randy Hillier drew hundreds of attendees.

Abortion center issued new consent forms. Then, mothers stopped allowing fetal tissue research

After women at Curtis Boyd’s late-term abortion center were informed that their babies were going to be used in medical research, they stopped giving consent.

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, May 28, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — After a New Mexico late-term abortion clinic introduced new consent forms, mothers stopped allowing the babies they were aborting to be used for research.

According to pro-life organization Abortion on Trial, Curtis Boyd’s late-term abortion facility has partnered with the University of New Mexico by donating body parts of aborted babies to be used in medical research.

At the facility, pregnant women were asked to sign a waiver which allowed the clinic to donate the remains of their babies. The original consent form only included one sentence concerning the donation of the babies’ bodies without providing any further details.

However, in the winter of 2015/2016, the abortion clinic began using a new form. This form provides an entire page of information on the donation of aborted babies for research. Since implementing this new form, the donation of aborted babies to the university dropped drastically. During the first three months of the consent form being implemented, there was allegedly no fetal tissue donated to the University of Mexico from the clinic

Transfer agreements have shown that the abortion center has shipped the babies’ tissue across the country and even to Canada, including the University of South Florida, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute in Canada.

The University of New Mexico’s tissue log prove that the university has used body parts of over 500 aborted babies for its research. In 2016, a pro-life group provided evidence that the university was also providing medical malpractice insurance for Dr. Curtis Boyd, who performs the late-term abortions.

In 2018, a young woman died after a botched abortion at the clinic. Her family filed a lawsuit against both the abortionist, Dr. Curtis Boyd, and UNM, which they said covered up the woman’s cause of death.

In 2015, pro-life hero David Daleiden acquired video footage exposing abortion giant Planned Parenthood for selling aborted babies for research. Many of the babies’ organs were fully developed, being well into the second trimester. One doctor revealed that sometimes the babies are born alive, and then killed and sold.

Daleiden is currently facing legal charges for his undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood. However, he is taking the trial as an opportunity to publicly expose the trafficking of murdered babies by Planned Parenthood.

May 28, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — Catholic parents across Ontario are banding together to protest gay “Pride” flags that will be raised at Catholic schools next week in celebration of the pro-homosexual “Pride month.” They will be participating in car rallies, in-person protests, and prayer events.

“Parents have been reaching out to us for advice on what to do if they have children whom they want to protect from LGBT indoctrination in schools in Ontario,” said Teresa Pierre, president of parental rights group Parents as First Educators, in an email to supporters.

Seven of 38 Catholic school boards in Ontario have voted to fly the “Pride” flag, namely the Catholic school boards of Ottawa, Durham, Niagara, Toronto, Waterloo, Wellington, and Thunder Bay.

The “Pride” flag was created in 1978 by open homosexual and drag queen Gilbert Baker. The flag as a whole, composed of various colored stripes, has become an international symbol of the homosexual movement and its view of the human person and sexuality that is at odds with biology, the social sciences, the world’s major religions, and specifically with the Catholic faith.

The Catholic Church warns about the spiritual dangers of homosexual behavior, teaching that homosexual acts are “intrinsically disordered.” Such behaviors are “contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved,” states the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Church furthermore teaches that showing respect for people who struggle with same-sex attraction “cannot lead in any way to approval of homosexual behaviour or to legal recognition of homosexual unions.”

Pierre called the flag a “hot topic” that is on the minds of many Catholic parents who are opposed to seeing Catholic schools celebrating “Pride” month.

She said that parents need to do everything they can to protect their children.

“Bottom line — do what you can to protect your children, and protest the government-sponsored ideological indoctrination of your children. You are the parent. These are your children. You have the final say,” she said.

Parents as First Educators is organizing car rallies on June 1 to protest Pride flag-raising ceremonies at the above-mentioned Catholic school board offices. The group is also organizing 10-person rallies at the Niagara Catholic board office, as well as schools, that will take place on May 31 at 6:30 p.m. Contact information for more details about the events can be found below.

“Please make respectful signs for your cars and leave them at the board when the rally is over. Someone will collect them and bring them to the board,” Pierre said in an email to supporters.

Angela Braun, a Catholic parent from the Niagara area, told LifeSiteNews that she is helping to organize a “Rosary Rally of reparation.”

“On Monday, May 31, Catholics will be praying a Rosary of reparation for the blasphemy committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus,” she said.

“At 6:30 p.m., the Rosary and other reparation prayers, including exorcism prayers, will be prayed outside all the Niagara Catholic High Schools and outside the Niagara Catholic District School Board. We will also be praying for protection for our youth from the impurity of the LGBTQ agenda, as well as for the souls of the Trustees who voted for this sinful flag, as they are in grave danger,” she added.

Braun also said that her group is preparing to file a complaint with the Catholic board’s Ombudsman that the Trustees who voted to fly the Pride flag violated their own Code of Conduct.

“Their Code of Conduct states, among other things, that they will uphold Church teaching,” she said.

Jack Fonseca of Campaign Life Coalition told LifeSiteNews that parents must send a strong message to Catholic school boards that they will not accept their schools being overrun by activist groups that are opposed to Catholicism.

“United, let us show that parents want Catholic schools to be authentically Catholic,” he said.
