The bible is not all literal. Remember in the tower of Babylon story language was confused.

Jesus Christ is the Way, the TRUTH, and the Life. He is the living word of God. The bible talks about Truth, but it itself is not the Living Word. It will lead you to the Living Word if you have eyes to see and ears to hear.
