Looks like CBD doesn't fits into anything. So therefore it is only speculation that it does anything other than induce a placebo effect.

They don't even know what it's doing but yet promote it. Any study should be able to determine what if any receptors CBD would fit into and the effects. If not it's all BS.
Like a non-approved VAX why would you promote something that isn't 100% understood or can't back up with science. Using the same logic, the CBD scam fits the same plan big pharma is pushing the VAXs under.
So why push it ? Think alternatives. CBD isn't the end game.
The real push behind legalizing POT is just another attempt at the DS to pacify the masses, cause more addiction and weaken society. The reality States are allowing "Full Spectrum " CBD on rthe market that still contains THC. Those CBD products produce an effect because the THC is modulating the brain function via dopamine and it's receptors in the brain to block the pain etc.; just like opioids vs. plain 100% CBD.
So don't fool yourself if taking "Full Spectrum CBD" YOUR TAKING THC! Where do you think that will lead?
The idea of using POT to treat opioid addiction is replacing one addiction with another POT replacing opioids …idiots.
Take a moment and think of what is really happening to all the THC that is being extracted to produce plain CBD. "Sure, they throw it away ." Wait for it THC via FDA approval as an alternative to opioids $$$$$$$$.
