If you want something bad enough you'll do what it takes to get it. Your freedom and mine are based on our ability to agree that the rules, the laws of the land are for our mutual good. Doing something illegal because you have no other means to survive is a moral judgment is a moral choice.
If your talking about freedom to do whatever you like, having no government for the people, by the people? Anarchy is a tool for those who would control through chaos, Anarchy equals taking away your rights as a society. I guess the question should be are we governing ourselves.
