Yes. The I came from Greek or Latin. The J was created around 1600s and editing began to the J around then.
Things certainly did get messed up along the way. At least they were able to bring forth the Savior.
Don't like their Talmud at all, or the thinking of Pharisee Rabbis. But harbor no hate knowing the end of their story.
