God set Israel up as His chosen people in order to bring about The Promised Messiah, whom they have since rejected. They don't need any power over other nations anymore because the prophesy of the Promised Messiah has been fulfilled.
Where are the animal rights activists on the abortion issue? Why aren't they throwing buckets of blood at the pro-abortion crowd?
