Medical insurance companies get to choose what they cover, but miss one premium and they will drop you.
Insurance companies need to disappear. They facilitate and encourage doctors to charge exorbitant prices. I am grateful for doctors/hospitals but can't get past withholding something that improves another person's life if they can't pay your astronomical sum. It's extortion; it's actually criminal. Making money off another person's misery.
Maybe if ins. companies didn't exist and people paid out of pocket, doctors/hospitals would drop their fees.
