Something that seems interesting. Yahoo is REALLY pushing tik-tok stories. Why? Free, or paid for, advertising? Eric Schmidt. Eric Schmidt in China. Why? China buying tech or tech support, or both? China is not exactly a free and open society, so why would they want social media? Is it for their people, or someone elses? If someone elses, why? Something really smells about this whole thing.

Maybe, huge mainframe computers gather all the data that people put on their profiles, and the main frame creates profile data files on each and every person that is used for whatever the heck they want, either useful or nefarious. It also would see to be a great way to mold or manipulate public opinion by creating, "special," profiles that seed ideas and then gets repeated.
