St. Louis Reimposes Indoor Mask Mandate Regardless of Vaccination Status

St. Louis County and city reimposed its indoor mask mandate regardless of vaccination status.

The mask mandate will go into effect on Monday.

“We’ve lost more than 500 St. Louisans to COVID-19, and if our region doesn’t work together to protect one another, we could see spikes that overwhelm our hospital and public health systems,” Fredrick Echols, acting director of health for the City of St. Louis, said in a statement.

“The City and County health departments are taking this joint step to save lives, make sure hospitals can provide the care residents rely on, and protect our children so they can enjoy a full range of educational opportunities this year,” he added. “Vaccines remain one of the best methods to prevent severe complications and death from the virus.”

KMOV reported the St. Louis Pandemic Task Force on Friday showed 318 people hospitalized with Covid.

A mandate that everyone wear a mask in public places in St. Louis City and County is coming back.

Effective Monday, everyone 5 and older in St. Louis City and County must wear a mask in indoor public places and on public transportation regardless of vaccinated status. Officials are also urging people to wear masks in outside if they are in a group. Those who are seated in a restaurant or bar eating and drinking, and those who have disabilities that prevent them from wearing masks are exempt from the mandate.

REPORT: NSA Investigates Itself, Concludes NSA Did Nothing Wrong When Spying On Tucker Carlson

Even after finding itself not guilty of Carlson's allegations, the agency reportedly did admit that Carlson's identity was unmasked

The National Security Agency has reportedly conducted an internal investigation which found that the National Security Agency did nothing wrong when surveilling the communications of Fox News host Tucker Carlson. The NSA did admit that Carlson’s identity was “unmasked” by unidentified government officials, according to The Record.

The Record reported on Friday that “two people familiar with the matter” told the publication that the Fox News host’s communications “were not targeted – as the NSA has previously stated publicly – nor intercepted through so-called ‘incidental collection,'” though the agency reportedly found that “Carlson was mentioned in communications between third parties and his name was subsequently revealed through ‘unmasking,’ a process in which relevant government officials can request the identities of American citizens in intelligence reports to be divulged provided there is an official reason,” confirming Carlson’s allegations that he had been unmasked.

A Fox News spokesperson stated in response to the story, “For the NSA to unmask Tucker Carlson or any journalist attempting to secure a newsworthy interview is entirely unacceptable and raises serious questions about their activities as well as their original denial, which was wildly misleading.”

The news has already been made the subject of derision by NSA critics, who point out the irony in an agency accused of illegal agency finding themselves not guilty of said illegal activity through an internal investigation.

As National File previously reported, Carlson was made aware that the government was reading his private communications by a government whistleblower:

“Yesterday we heard from a whistleblower within the U.S. government who reached out to warn us that the NSA, the National Security Agency, is monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off the air,” Carlson stated. “Now that’s a shocking claim, and ordinarily we’d be skeptical of it, it is illegal for the NSA to spy on American citizens, it’s a crime. This is not a third-world country, things like that should not happen in America. But unfortunately, they do happen, and in this case, they did happen.”

“The whistleblower, who is in a position to know, repeated back to us information about a story we are working on that could have only come directly from my texts and emails. There’s no other possible source for that information, period,” Carlson continued. “The NSA captured that information without our knowledge and did it for political reasons. The Biden administration is spying on us. We have confirmed that.”

The NSA has issued vague denials in response to Carlson’s reporting.

Cyber Ninjas’ Doug Logan on Maricopa’s Missing 74,000 Ballots: ‘74,000 EV33 Forms That Did Not Have Matching EV32s’

Doug Logan, the CEO of Cyber Ninjas, has confirmed that 74,000 EV33 forms, for ballots received by Maricopa County, did not have matching EV32s, implying that they had not been sent.

Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers, who has been one of the most pro-audit members of the Arizona Legislature, posted a statement on Twitter from Logan on Friday, confirming that out of the EV33 forms in the Maricopa County audit, 74,000 of them did not have matching EV32s. “EV33s are for received ballots, while EV32s are for sent ballots,” Logan explained. This means that there was no record of those ballots ever being sent out to these voters.

“This was brought up in the context of justifying why we should do canvassing, because the situation didn’t make any sense,” Logan continued. “Canvassing would give an explanation as to what was happening here, and if anything was wrong or if there is a good explanation for it. If Maricopa county officials were answering questions, as in a normal audit, they would’ve had an opportunity to explain. However, even if they’d give us an explanation, as auditors we would then need to validate if their response logically explained the situation.”

However, the prospect of canvassing Maricopa voters had previously been attacked by the Department of Justice, who, in a letter sent to Senate President Karen Fann, claimed that contacting voters via phone calls or physical canvassing would amount to “intimidation” of minority voters that would be prohibited under the Voting Rights Act.

Logan said that he, Cyber Ninjas, and the entire audit term, were working to “validate” the claims by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors that they had put on Twitter. He then slammed the Board, claiming that they weren’t acting professionally, and that if they were, “these conversations could just happen in meetings; but their sole goal” has been to attack the audit. “They clearly don’t know anything about how professional audits go,” Logan concluded, “if they think this sort of issue is something an auditor would know walking in the door without asking questions.”

Despite the clear evidence existing of the discrepancy between EV33 forms and their matching EV32s, many mainstream news outlets are continuing to downplay the potential ramifications. State Senator Rogers was even blocked by Fox News host Brett Baier after she and others called him out for his allegedly biased coverage of the Maricopa audit.
