A clean fresh water source, shelter, and something to hunt and you’re good to go. Have several of these places plotted and travel and provisions ready to go. Antibiotics are also a must but a well stocked medical kit is advisable. If the shit really hits the fan and the national power grid goes down and mains water gets shut off 95% of the population could be dead in as little in a month. Ham radio if possible, cb if not. But really it’s the fresh water that is your most important need. Bulky, heavy, hard to transport, and while you can go weeks or even a few months without food if absolutely necessary, a few days without water and you’re proper fucked.
