"Two people are in custody as of 9 p.m. after Vancouver [WA] police, the Clark and Cowlitz County sheriff’s offices and AMR responded to an apartment complex in east Vancouver Friday evening in response to reports that a Clark County sheriff’s deputy was shot. Police are searching for three suspects in the shooting, and they warn that the three are considered armed and dangerous. They also made one arrest, a woman, as well as a second unidentified subject in the apartment complex Friday night. An additional suspect or suspects may remain barricaded in a nearby apartment. The is no word on the deputy’s condition. The suspects are two Hispanic males, both wearing black T-shirts and black shorts. One shirt had a gold flag on the back. The third suspect is a 30-year-old Hispanic female, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and about 180 pounds, wearing striped Adidas apparel."
