The Witnesses have the power to strike the earth with every plague, they have the power to stop the rain, they have the power to bring fire down from heaven with the word of their mouth, and they have the power to turn the water to blood. Revelation 17:15 tells you what the water stands for (people, multitudes, nations and languages). They are overcome and "killed" and refused burial, but God breathes life into them and the witnesses stand, and they go to heaven in a cloud.
