Actually, there are two issues. The first one is the DNS problem which has been haunting us since the end of April. The second issue is that 8kun is blocked in some regions of the world. The blockage appears to be intermittent but I can't access the site at all without going through Tor. And my Tor client keeps switching circuits.
Oddity: the posting server (sys.8kun.top) is not blocked.

I'm in Canada. And, crapola, I just discovered that this IP address works for me: 193.178.169.19.
There are currently 6 IP addresses (down from 7) for "8kun.top" and only that one is working. Big hmmmm.
Shit. Verified. There are six IP addresses for 8kun.top and media.8kun.top:

The DNS is handled at the operating system level. Unless you activate DNS-over-HTTPS which I don't think you can do in Chrome but you can in Firefox.

There is an issue going on with some 8kun IP addresses not working.
Breaking news: blood clots from the "vaccine" can increase your bust size.
So far, that IP address is working perfectly for me.
Here's the thing: I don't know if there is a geographical component to this. That is, the IP address works for me but it may not work for everyone. I'm in Ontario, Canada. If you are located somewhere else then maybe you will need to pick a different IP address to reach 8kun.
Need some anons to try different IP addresses in different parts of the world to find out what works.

The site is not constantly checking 8kun to know how long it has been offline.
