#OTD in 988 the Anicent Rus' adopted the Orthodox Faith. 1033 years ago Saint #Vladimir, the then Grand Prince of Ancient Rus', was baptized in Chersonesus, #Crimea.

 

This historic choice shaped #Russia's future, greatly influencing its culture & traditions.
