LYING FLAT
Recommend anons occasionally check on SerpentZA's latest vids. He is the South African living in China, who has shone a lot of light on life there, often getting himself into trouble.
This vid is about a phenomenon called TANGPING, which means 'lying flat'. It is basically a call to apathy, by overworked and underpaid millennials, who feel like they were forced into the CCP rat race by the one-child policy of their parents' generation. It was a viral movement begun online, and has been erased and memory-holed by the desperate CCP.
The CCP needs its young workers producing. The work week is 9-9-6, which is 9am to 9pm, six days per week. But these millennials have grown up with many advantages, much like our own millennials. They don't see the need to achieve so much, and it stresses them out. This growing movement is basically one of withdrawing their effort, and being content with less. Why should their generation shoulder the burden of poor social planning? Frantic CCP is now pushing a 3-child policy apparently, trying to make a correction.
