Some believe "inequity", as you put it, is not a problem. It's a natural condition among a population of millions. Some will have "less" of something than others… Is it really something we even need to winge over? I don't have the farm I've always wanted. That's MY problem, brother. Some kid didn't do his homework, and won't graduate. Tough shit!
I'm NOT suggesting we live by some "Law of the Jungle", I'm simply suggesting inequity is natural, and actually provides incentive for people to WORK to better their OWN situations.
Charity is wonderful. Attempting to force it, is a mistake.
