Funny story: i was in college a long time ago when you could meet with HR just by showing up. I went every week to Pfizer in my homeyown in CT, he’d actually see me every week, a very warm and friendly guy. I must have gone on every week fir 12-16 weeks, I wouldnt give up, this was my path to a good life and I could support myself. Plus I’m stubborn as shit.
So one week he said we have an opening, taking care of the animals. I said “i can do that I love animals”, he said, “you’re not understanding, you’d have to put them down!you cannot do this job“
He said “We will keep on looking, this is not for you, we’ll find something for you!”
He did find a job for me and it wasnt killing animals or humans. I was a labtech in QC for antibiotics. I left after two years to pursue my spiritual life, they didn’t like it and didn’t understand it, and the manager was pretty pissed when i left. Now i know why!
