I texted a man I consider a good friend last evening who has taken the two jabs of the “vaccine.” I asked him to please do his own research before taking the soon to be offered “booster.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed an executive order saying parents can decide whether their kids should wear masks in the classroom. On Friday, DeSantis said the order protects the rights of parents and this is the most fair way to do it.
This comes after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued guidelines on Tuesday that recommended students K-12 wear masks when returning to class in the fall. However, some parents and advocates remained strongly opposed to the move.
Former Florida House Speaker Jose Olivia said he supports DeSantis’ decision, saying the governor recognized parents are in the best position to make these types of choices for their children. “His [DeSantis] actions today demonstrate his faith and trust in our fellow Floridians, and he and they have my full support,” said Olivia.

Ariz. Audit Completes Ballot Recount, Begins Analysis
Election auditors in Arizona have completed the third and final recount of 2020 ballots and have now begun preparing their report. On Thursday, State Senate President Karen Fann (R) said the physical tabulation of ballots was not complete and all 2.1 million are being returned to Maricopa County this week.
She added the data will be taken to audit labs for analysis and a report is expected next month. Meanwhile, auditors are still expecting additional data and routers from Maricopa officials and dominion voting systems subpoenaed by the Senate. Arizona Republicans said it is essential those materials are not withheld.

The Senate’s lease for the Wesley Bolin Building, where the audit team relocated in late June, ends on Saturday.
However, the departure from the fairgrounds may not be permanent. Depending on what the county and Dominion provide in response to the subpoenas before the 1 p.m. Monday deadline, the election review team may need more space, audit spokesman Randy Pullen said. For example, if Dominion turns over the passwords, the team led by Florida-based cybersecurity company Cyber Ninjas may need to take possession of the county’s voting machines again, which Pullen said would require about 1,000 square feet of space. If the county provides ballot envelopes, that will take up space as well.
The response to the subpoenas will also determine how long it takes the audit team to complete its final report. Pullen said the team began working on the report a week ago.

I looked over Nebraska. Dr, Frank is going there this week. I was kind of expecting to see just a start of the control algorithm and a slide into the pre-determined setpoint. What I saw was a re-start of the algorithm, as shown by a repeat of the of the initial system perturbation, once following the call of FL for Trump and again following the "Edison Zero". Note here: Each state seems to have it's own system perturbation shape to keep the trends from looking too similar state-to-state. I don't see a real change in the overall setpoint, though. It looks like Nebraska was always planned for around a ratio of around 148%. Note the same double-peaked hill feature.

Biden Withdraws Crucial Trump Regulation That Was Designed to Protect Americans from Islamic Terrorists, Chinese Spies
The Biden administration withdrew a Trump administration Department of Homeland Security regulation that was designed to protect Americans from violent Islamic terrorists or Chinese spies.
These alleged spies would use their student visas to stay in the United States, the report adds.
The Biden administration withdrew Proposed Rule 2020-20845 on July 6th.
Under Trump, the U.S. was attempting to monitor the status of student visa holders in the United States due to Chinese spies and Islamic terrorists.
The Trump administration proposed the rule back in September 2020. It required student visa holders to “renew them every two or four years and to check that they are still in good standing at universities.”
Todd Bensman of Townhall explained, “The most valuable part of the process would have had DHS agents conduct eyeball-to-eyeball interviews with renewal applicants. The agents also would collect biometric information, spot-check progress at academic institutions, and double-check that original claimed purposes remained valid. This periodic regimen would have made sure not only that F-1 visa holders from those countries were keeping their end of the bargain but provide opportunities for suspicious activity referrals to the FBI.”
“In its official explanation, the Biden administration pointed out that 99 percent of those who commented on the regulation – a great many of them likely the affected foreigners, school administrators, and exchange visitor programs – just didn’t want to go through all the bothersome rigmarole for their generous host nation’s security interests,” Bensman continued.
“The regulation, opponents most frequently complained, ‘would significantly burden’ them with extra cost and time, would discriminate based on nationality, and would deny them access to ‘immigration benefits,’” he concluded.
The Trump administration DHS proposal reads:
Currently, aliens in the F, J, and I categories are admitted into the United States for the period of time that they are complying with the terms and conditions of their nonimmigrant category (“duration of status”), rather than an admission for a fixed time period. This duration of status framework generally lacks predetermined points in time for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) immigration officers to directly evaluate whether F, J, and I nonimmigrants are maintaining their status and poses a challenge to the Department’s ability to effectively monitor and oversee these categories of nonimmigrants. renew them every two or four years and to check that they are still in good standing at universities.

The Department accordingly is concerned about the integrity of the programs and a potential for increased risk to national security. To address these issues, DHS proposes to amend its regulations by changing the admission period of F, J, and I aliens from duration of status to an admission for a fixed time period.

Controversial actor Mel Gibson saluted former President Donald Trump on Saturday when they both attended a UFC match near Las Vegas.
Gibson, known for starring roles in “The Patriot” and “Braveheart,” was captured making the military-style gesture to Trump as the former president walked through the crowd and waved.
The clip attracted widespread social media commentary as it circulated following Conor McGregor’s loss to Dustin Poirier.
Gibson, 65, was not previously a well-known Trump supporter. He dissed Trump’s plan for a US-Mexico border wall in 2016 and didn’t vocally back him in 2020 — unlike more forceful Hollywood Trump backers like Kirstie Alley and Jon Voight, who routinely promoted Trump’s re-election campaign.
Even actors Vince Vaughn and Kelsey Grammar were more open than Gibson about their support for Trump.
Gibson has not publicly explained his salute. He posted on Twitter, however, that he was at the UFC match with his sons Ed, Will and Tommy.
Trump is considering a rematch against President Biden in 2024.
Gibson gained a following among devout Christians through directing the 2004 film “The Passion of the Christ,” but he’s been socially stigmatized over a series of anti-Jewish remarks, including a drunken diatribe in 2006 in which he told a police officer, “F–king Jews … the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world. Are you a Jew?”
