I think Trump was trying to get states to take back some of their Constitutional rights against Federal overreach.
May be why he didn't send troops in.
Get states and their citizens to stand up for their rights- where they could. States that use mail in voting exclusively won't see any changes until that is thrown out as well as states that use ranked voting.
Ditching electronic vote counting goes without saying as an absolute need.
