My hope is that after reading this statement, you will consider it and then act upon what you learn… each of you in a way that maximizes your own expertise, your unique knowledge, and your particular area of focus.

As is well documented, China has been working for decades to build its economic and military capacity in an effort to achieve its stated objective of global dominance by 2035. In only 30 years, China has gone from being a potential threat to America to being an imminent threat: politically, economically, and militarily.

In order to understand the complexity of the effort, it is essential to understand the pillars that buttress the CCP. Together these pillars increase the CCP’s strategic reach and tactical agility, increasing their influence, strength, and control in the arena of economics, technology, space, and warfare.

The pillars are as follows:

Pillar 1: Military-Civil Fusion

Military-Civil Fusion in China refers to the use of civilian fronts as a cover for work being done on behalf of the military and CCP.

Two examples:

Inside China, there is no functional difference between a civilian virology lab and a military virology lab. Scientists from the People’s Liberation Army carry out bioweapons research in labs disguised to look like civilian labs. They do this all over China, including in Hong Kong….including the WHO reference lab in which I worked in Hong Kong.

For example, why would General Wei Chen, a military bioweapons expert, take over the civilian Wuhan Institute of Virology in February 2020? She has been put in charge of covering up evidence of bioweapon research at the WIV. In May of 2021, she was promoted to Vice Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology.

In July 2020, a Chinese researcher was arrested in California after hiding her military affiliations. Juan Tang was one of four visiting researchers who had infiltrated a university in Sacramento. She had arrived in the US in December 2019, just as the virus was beginning to emerge in Wuhan. Ultimately, all four infiltrators were charged with visa fraud.

However, questions arise:

> What intellectual property did they steal?

> Were any American scientists compromised by these CCP agents?

A more current example involves Dr. Lanying Du from the New York Blood Center in Manhattan. She is the wife of a now-dead PLA scientist, Yu-Shen Zhou. Zhou was a leading virologist and immunologist. He was studying a Covid-19 variant in a PLA lab in China in May 2020. Soon after, he died unexpectedly. That variant coincidently is the same variant that later appeared in the UK in September 2020. Du, his wife, remains an important link in the CCP network. She graduated from a PLA university and then moved to the lab where I worked in HK to complete her Ph.D. From there, she went to the New York Blood Center. This is important because it gives her access to the genetic data of Americans.

The CCP has long been interested in genetic bioweapons. She is also important to the CCP’s military-civilian network inside America—which includes Dr. Fang Li, a sitting professor at the University of Minnesota, and Dr. Ralph Baric at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Together they have received millions of dollars of grant money from the NIH for studies related to the coronavirus and the vaccines.

Having CCP agents embedded in US universities is a very significant threat to America. These informants include professors, researchers, and even students. In some cases, they are here to serve the CCP, but in many cases, they are forced to serve the CCP by stealing scientific knowledge and research data. They are also here to establish professional networks that can exploit, manipulate and compromise American scientists. The US must realize the danger and immediately scrutinize it.

Pillar 2: Medical and Academic Research

Medical and academic research often serves as an entry point for CCP agents. They seek friendly collaboration but have the same nefarious motives as military scientists.

The CCP leverages the infiltrated professional networks at US universities and private biotech labs using inducements in the form of research attribution, achievement awards, grants, and capital investment. These become the often subtle levers of corruption within the US research and private biotech communities. This insidious tactic has corrupted the independence of researchers, medical doctors, and private biotech companies.

The perfect example of this was the egregious inaction by the WHO and Peter Daszak in the early weeks of the pandemic. A longtime advocate for gain-of-function research, Daszak facilitated its funding by the NIH using his EcoHealth Alliance organization. To assist the CCP in its propaganda, Daszak promoted the ‘nature-origin’ theory to the outside world as the lab-enhanced virulence of the virus became known. He did so without acknowledging or disclosing his own connection to gain-of-function research which he had enthusiastically promoted for years.

Pillar 3: Misinformation and Censorship

Those who disagreed with the ‘nature-origin’ theory were crushed by misinformation and censorship. Even in the face of early evidence to the contrary, including my own, there was no disputing the ‘official narrative.’ Just this past weekend, there were reports that the Biden administration is slowly conceding that the virus likely came from a lab. Why do the mainstream media and Big Tech still remain silent?

The tech industry has revealed to the world what we in China have long known. The ability to digitally monitor and censor speech was perfected in China. We now live with what the Chinese people refer to as the “Great Wall.” This is a wall of digital surveillance that is ever-present and imprisons those who live within it. It is a digital prison for anyone who questions authority and seeks freedom.

Just last week the Biden Administration acknowledged that they are “assisting” FaceBook to ‘flag’ content which they assert is medically incorrect. This is deeply disturbing and must be challenged.

In order to be successful in the US, the CCP needs willing collaborators. Enter the US tech industry. Renowned throughout the world for both their reach and for their audacious claims of independence, they have proven willful collaborators. The CCP has infiltrated many of these companies.

A current example is Facebook. According to reports, six Chinese nationals were hired by Facebook as “third-party fact-checking partners” and are referred to as the ‘Hate Speech engineering team.’ While their censorship feels like an assault on the First Amendment, does such cooperation between tech and the CCP actually constitute a more treasonous collaboration that must be confronted by lawmakers?

It is vitally important that you understand that the CCP has the intention to harm America. They have the capability to harm America⏤and they are already here… inside America. Only through your decisive actions, the commitment to fight, and the will of the American people can their treachery be neutralized.

In summary, the CCP has oppressed and subjugated the people of China for decades. I testify to you that it is their determined objective to do the same to the entire world. The CCP has quietly but relentlessly built an enormous military capacity, one component of which is a bioweapons program using lab-manipulated viruses. Covid 19 is just one example.

Their economic productivity has now nearly drawn parity with the United States.

They have ensconced Chinese Communist Party operatives in many of the West’s most critical scientific, educational, tech, and military institutions.

To be sure, the CCP has been assisted greatly by the growing Socialist Left in America. On every front, they are determined to become the world’s new superpower, and they are now a profound threat to human freedom. If America does not recognize this soon and respond accordingly, the American dream of liberty that has been a beacon of light for the entire world could be lost.

California Orders State of Emergency to Avert Blackouts

 

(Bloomberg) – California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency to free up energy supplies and speed development of new power plants to help the state avoid blackouts as it faces wildfires and crippling heat waves this summer.

 

The historic drought, intense heat and blazes battering the state have left it facing a projected possible power-supply shortfall of as much as 3.5 gigawatts during late afternoons under extreme conditions, according to the emergency proclamation Friday.

 

California has struggled to keep its power grid running as it aggressively transitions away from fossil fuels and as climate change makes heat waves fiercer. Demand for air conditioning is surging just as the state’s historic drought has depleted reservoirs needed for hydropower.

 

The latest directive is designed to “to keep the power flowing during a summer and fall that will be hotter and drier,” Marybel Batjer, president of the California Public Utilities Commission, said during a conference call to discuss the order with reporters on Friday.

 

The order creates a new temporary program that will pay industrial customers to reduce demand by shifting to back-up generation when supplies get tight. In addition, it waives air quality rules that will permit big power users and ships to use backup diesel power during emergency conditions this summer.

 

Newsom directed the state’s air board to mitigate environmental impacts from the emergency measures.

 

The order also streamlines permitting and waives certain requirements for clean-energy and storage projects. Newsom has called for similar emergency actions to free up additional power supplies during heat waves.

 

On Thursday, the state’s power grid order abruptly warned the systems may fall short after it unexpectedly lost 1.1 gigawatts of power generation. Last August, the state suffered its first rolling outages in almost two decades after hot weather sent electricity demand soaring.

During a status hearing Friday afternoon for Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, an Army reservist arrested on January 15 for his involvement in the January 6 protest in Washington, D.C., an assistant U.S. attorney admitted the government will not meet its discovery obligations for all Capitol defendants until early 2022.

Kathyrn Fifield, the lead attorney representing the Justice Department, informed Judge Trevor McFadden that the “incalculable” volume of video collected by the government related to the Capitol breach investigation will prevent defendants and their lawyers from accessing the full body of evidence against them for several more months. “No system exists to wrap its arms around [all this evidence],” Fifield told McFadden. This includes at least 14,000 hours of surveillance video plus thousands of hours of body-worn camera footage from law enforcement.

Fifield resisted setting a 2021 trial date for Hale; McFadden and Jonathan Crisp, Hale’s court-appointed attorney, told the government last month that unless a plea arrangement was agreed upon, a trial would be set for later this year because Hale already has been incarcerated for more than six months. “If we do set a trial date, the government cannot meet discovery obligations until early 2022. That’s a conservative estimate,” Fifield said.

Despite arresting more than 550 people since January 6, the government still has no platform for posting, sharing, and transferring digital evidence. “Due to the extraordinary nature of the January 6, 2021 Capitol Attack, the government anticipates that a large volume of materials may contain information relevant to this prosecution,” Fifield wrote in a July 14 filing. “These materials may include, but are not limited to, surveillance video, statements of similarly situated defendants, forensic searches of electronic devices and social media accounts of similarly situated defendants, and citizen tips. The government is working to develop a system that will facilitate access to these materials.”

At one point, the Justice Department was sharing digital evidence on Blu Ray discs.

Earlier this month, the department signed a multi-million dollar contract with Deloitte to create a “massive database” of evidence. But that process will take several weeks if not months. “The still-incomplete database has sharply slowed down efforts by prosecutors and defense attorneys to hammer out plea deals for dozens, of not hundreds, of alleged rioters,” Politico reported on July 9. “Several defendants have sought quick resolution of their cases only to be told by prosecutors that they must wait until the database is established.”

Despite the lack of evidence against him, Hale has been behind bars since January. He is not charged with any violent crimes but the Justice Department repeatedly—and successfully—has sought his pre-trial detention. (McFadden denied Hale’s release in March.)

An informant wore a wire to record a conversation with Hale about a “civil war” and military investigators interrogated nearly four dozen of Hale’s co-workers about his alleged “white supremacist” views. (My column explaining the case here.)

Hale was transported to at least five different prisons before arriving in early February at the D.C. jail specifically used to detain January 6 defendants. More than three dozen January 6 detainees are incarcerated at the D.C. Correctional Treatment Facility awaiting trial or plea offers.

On July 7, the D.C. Circuit Court denied Hale’s appeal seeking release.

McFadden scolded the government for its backwards process. “You would not arrest [someone] then gather evidence later. That’s not how this works.” When Fifield said full discovery is in the best interest of the defendant, McFadden shot back: “Freedom also is important to the defendant.” The Trump-appointed judge raised concerns over Sixth Amendment violations. “This does not feel what the Constitution [and] the Speedy Trial Act envisions.”

The Food & Drug Administration issued a class I recall for a defective COVID rapid test that had been the “benchmark” for testing in the United States. It continues an alarming trend of problems with COVID tests in the United States.

 

“The FDA has classified the recall of this test as a Class I recall, the most serious type of recall,” the government agency said. “The FDA also has issued a warning letter to Innova Medical Group, Inc.”

 

Innova describes itself as “the world’s largest manufacturer of rapid antigen tests and leader in COVID-19 testing solutions globally.” The FDA states the reasons for the COVID test recall:

 

“Innova Medical Group is recalling its SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Qualitative Test. Labeling distributed with certain configurations of the test includes performance claims that did not accurately reflect the performance estimates observed during the clinical studies of the tests. The performance characteristics of the test have not been adequately established, presenting a risk of false results.”

 

False-negative results may lead to delayed diagnosis or inappropriate treatment of SARS-CoV-2, which may cause patient harm including serious illness and death. False-negative results can also lead to further spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, including when presumed negative patients are grouped into cohorts in health care, long-term care, and other facilities based on false test results.

False-positive results could lead to a delay in the correct diagnosis and the initiation of an appropriate treatment for the actual cause of patient illness, which could be another life-threatening disease that is not SARS-CoV-2. False-positive results could also lead to further spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus when presumed positive patients are grouped into cohorts based on false test results.

“On April 23, 2021, Innova Medical Group sent all affected device users an Urgent Medical Device Recall letter,” the FDA said. “The letter provided the following information”:

 

Do not use these tests to screen for or diagnose COVID-19.

Identify and remove all affected tests from inventory.

Either destroy the tests by placing them in the trash or return the tests using the FedEx return label that was included with the letter Innova sent to its customers.

Complete and return the form Innova sent to its customers, indicating the number of destroyed or returned tests.

The CDC in June issued an alert for testing laboratories to stop using the Innova SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Qualitative Test.

 

“Innova Medical Group is recalling its SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Qualitative Test. Labeling distributed with certain configurations of the test includes performance claims that did not accurately reflect the performance estimates observed during the clinical studies of the tests,” the CDC stated. “The performance characteristics of the test have not been adequately established, presenting a risk of false results.”

 

A number of COVID testing experts reacted to the recall of the Innova rapid tests.

 

“The Food and Drug Administration issued its STOP notice on Innova’s lateral flow antigen tests in USA on 10th June, by coincidence one day after a Royal Statistical Society (RSS) Working Group had issued its report on diagnostic tests which made 22 recommendations – 10 on study-design, six for regulators and six on transparency,” Professor Sheila Bird of the University of Cambridge remarked.

 

“The FDA explain that they have withdrawn the Innova test for four main reasons: (a) distribution of the test in the US without approval; (b) erroneous claims on product leaflets; (c) concerns about the reliability of the evidence; and (d) failure to implement appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure that only inspected and approved devices are distributed,” Professor Jon Deeks of the University of Birmingham remarked. “The FDA state that the decision is informed by inspection visits to the distribution sites in the US. Innova have responded stating that they have already or are fixing the issues which concerned the FDA and will reapply for approval.”

 

It is not the only concerning news on the COVID testing front. Last week, the CDC urged laboratories to switch over to a “multiplexed method” that “can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses.”

This means that people who’ve been vaccinated against Covid-19 account for 87% of the deaths in the third wave of deaths in Scotland that have just begun. We went through it when my Mum had cancer. The oncologists pretty much make you feel grateful for it and accept it as inevitable when cures for cancer exist but they deny a cure because they want to end a life for their financial benefit.

 

I only understood this afterwards but I figure that when someone dies, the trust that is in our names that was created by our birth certificate goes back to the state. They benefit when someone dies hence their preference to put someone to death instead of curing them.

 

Now this little slip up makes me wonder if that's what they attempting to do en masse. We all know about their depopulation plans. You would think that this would be counter productive but what are those trusts worth in financial terms?

White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also failed to explain why the administration canceled the weekly briefing with health officials to detail the latest data on the spread of the virus.

 

She said reporters should be satisfied that they heard from Biden himself on Thursday.

 

“He gave a more than 30-minute speech,” Jean-Pierre argued, adding Biden was “a trusted voice” and “the leader of our country.”

The Department of Justice (DOJ) said Friday that the hackers behind the major SolarWinds attack compromised employee accounts in more than two dozen federal prosecutors’ offices.

 

The DOJ said in an update that the hackers are believed to have compromised the accounts from May 7 to Dec. 27, 2020. The data includes “all sent, received, and stored emails and attachments found within those accounts during that time.”

 

In total, hackers gained access to “one or more employees’ ” emails in 27 office across 15 states and the District of Columbia, the DOJ said Friday.
