House of Representatives leader in New Mexico, Sheryl Williams Stapleton, has been indicted in a huge embezzlement scheme. Stapleton is accused of embezzling of $954,000 in a racketeering, laundering and illegal kickbacks scheme.

 

The representative serves as the House Floor Leader in New Mexico and is a proud member of the Democratic party. She was elected as leader in 2017.

 

Law enforcement agents have executed search warrants at the home and business of state Rep. Sheryl Williams Stapleton.

 

According to a filed warrant, she is under investigation for racketeering, money laundering and receiving illegal kickbacks.

 

In April, newly-appointed Albuquerque Public Schools Superintendent Scott Elder submitted a letter to the New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas referencing β€œSuspected Violations of Governmental Conduct Act and Procurement Code.”

 

According to the warrant, every invoice issued by Robotics to APS was for an even dollar amount, no cents, and in unchanging amounts over the years. Most were reportedly for $40,000. In all, APS paid Robotics more than $5.3 million.

 

Rep. Williams Stapleton is also directly involved with four companies that received payments from Robotics: The Charlie Morrisey Center for Creative Assitance Inc., the Ujima Foundation, S. Williams and Associates, and local restaurant A Taste of The Caribbean.

 

Evidence suggests that she was the eventual recipient of 60% of the APS money β€” $954,386. Investigators are looking into additional payments that were redirected into her personal bank accounts.

House clears $2.1 billion Capitol security bill, sending to Biden

Mayor Junard β€œAhong” Chan of Lapu-Lapu, a city with a population of just under half a million, issued executive order No. 2021 – 040 on Monday, ordering COVID-19 related restrictions until August 25, claiming that there was a β€œsurge” in β€œpositive” cases of the virus in the city.

 

From August 25, however, Chan’s draconian restrictions will be increased: Even though the temporary lockdown is to be lifted, those who have not been injected with the experimental injections will be banned from much of public life.

 

β€œEffective August 25, 2021, only vaccinated persons, upon presentation of their vaccination cards, shall be allowed to enter public and private markets including department stores, supermarkets, grocery stores and convenience stores,” read Section 4 of the document.

In a subsequent radio interview, Mayor Chan defended his actions by appealing to the low rate of COVID vaccination in the area. β€œWe will wait until August 25. So great was the backlash, as well as the sudden urge among the populace to get the COVID-19 injections, that Chan praised on Facebook yesterday the sudden uptake in injections from the daily average from 2,000 to 5,600.

 

Chan wrote that due to the rise in injections administered, he had β€œgreat confidence” it might be possible to rescind Section 4 of the Executive Order, providing the numbers of injections given remained constant and high.

 

However, the mayor made no promises, instead noting that he would consult with the Department of the Interior and Local Government on what the best policy would be regarding vaccination status. β€œGod bless us and I love you all,” he closed.

Actor Tom Hanks has left the earth, put to death by a military tribunal that found him guilty of pedophilia and child endangerment.

GOP Lawmaker Asks if Quorum-Busting Democrats’ Seats Can Be Vacated

 

State Rep. James White (R–Hillister), who serves as the chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security and Public Safety, sent the letter to Attorney General Ken Paxton on Tuesday, in response to what he referred to as a β€œthoughtful inquiry” from one of his East Texas constituents.

 

For the House to conduct business, a quorum of two-thirds of the chamber’s members (100 out of 150) is required to be present. A 30-day special session began on July 8 to address issues like omnibus election integrity legislation, which the Texas House failed to pass during the regular session. Just a few days in, however, more than 50 Democrat House members left, leaving the House unable to consider legislation for the past two weeks.

 

Those Democrats have not given any indication of when they plan to return, leading White to ask the following question of Paxton:

 

With this in mind, does our constitution or state statutes expressly allow for the vacating of legislative seats or seeking a determination if legislators have vacated their legislative seats when members deliberately deny the constitutional quroum [sic] requirement, announce intentions to leave and remain outside the State […] in order to prevent the presiding officer from compelling attendance, and have taken the oath of office?

 

Were the seats to be vacated, special elections would be called to replace the absent members.

 

Though some attorney general opinions take months to gather, White asked for an β€œexpedited response” given the time frame, adding, β€œ[I]n times such as this we need the cooling saucer of reasoned and constitutional deliberation and not the cauldron of ideological fervor.”

 

Currently, the Texas House and Gov. Greg Abbott have done little to compel Democrat lawmakers to return.

 

Although the House is currently under a β€œcall of the House,” during which members are to be compelled to return to the chamber and those that are in the chamber can not leave, House Speaker Dade Phelan has given permission slips to Democrats and Republicans alike. This led Democrat State Rep. Philip Cortez (San Antonio) to travel back and forth between Austin and Washington, D.C., prompting Phelan to issue a civil arrest warrant to bring him back to the Capitol.

 

Though Abbott promised on television appearances that Democrat lawmakers would be arrested and brought to the state Capitol, no other arrest warrants have yet been issued for the other quorum-busting Democrats.

 

Additionally, Phelan has refused to strip Democrats from the committee chairmanship positions he placed them in earlier this year, with the sole exception of stripping State Rep. Joe Moody (D–El Paso) of his speaker pro tempore title.

 

With the current special session more than halfway over and no clear end in sight, it remains to be seen which tools Republicans will be willing to use to bring their Democrat colleagues back.

America Thayer was found beheaded in Shakopee, Minnesota Wednesday afternoon in broad daylight.

 

A Minnesota woman was beheaded on the street on Wednesday in a Minneapolis suburb.

 

42-year-old Alexis Saborit was arrested for the crime.

 

Investigators believe the suspect knew the victim and this was not a random act of violence.

OROVILLE, Calif. - People living in Oroville say they are confused as to why their park beach is flooding during a drought.

Kayakers, sand and the sounds of the Feather River are common at Oroville's Riverbend Park.

"It is naturally beautiful," said Beth Dunn, a Butte County resident.

But what Dunn doesn't think is beautiful is the excess water during a drought.

 

"There's a lot of questions as to why the river has been at flood stage through most of the summer," Dunn explained. "Right now behind me you're looking at about half of the beach, the rest of it is pristine white sand and it's washing away."

 

And the beach is not the only thing being impacted. Water is also making its way down to nearby walking paths.

"There's a little man-made path that people have worn into the gravel to try to go alongside and avoid," Dunn said.

"We're living with a mud puddle now," said Janine Cody, a regular park-goer.

 

"Why is the (Oroville) lake dry and the (Feather) river flooded?" asked Dunn.

"I can see the confusion again with the level of the lake compared to the river," said Shawn Rohrbacker.

Rohrbacker is the general manager for Feather River Recreation and Park District, which manages the beach.

 

He said those river levels are handled by the Department of Water Resources (DWR) but he has an idea of why the river is the way it is.

"I think there's two big factors," Rohrbacker explained "one is water users downstream, farmers the whole state water project. That and the salmon spawning."

And when it comes to the beach eroding Rohrbacker says the public should not worry.

"It will erode some of the sand but otherwise it mostly stays in place. We do maintain it to replace some of it," Rohrbacker explained.

 

An immediate answer - but in the future park-goers want transparency as to what happens in their local waterways.

"So if there is a question we know who to call," Dunn said.

Action News Now has reached out to the DWR several times for comment but we have not heard back.

Rohrbacker said his department sets aside about $5,000 for maintenance of the beach and that the beach was designed to stay in place with these low rises in the river.

A very under rated YT acct 1PacificRedwood (https://www.youtube.com/user/1PacificRedwood/about) gave a link several years ago on "weather transmitters" that every state has for weather radar, predictions blah blah blah… these transmitter station have been highjacked and you can watch on radar as they can eradicate a system, 'hold' a system in an area. Watching them hit from sky satellite on a front in ocean headed for WA, OR, CA then weather transmitters using microwave 'steer' or wipe it(a front system, cold or hot or one holding much rain for example) from existence.

 

They cracked down on his channel so he doesn't upload as much, but if we find the weather transmitter locations, you can watch on radar if they are activated, turned on too high. ((Can't recall if only NOAA we tr locals sites or if any independent ones included on map))

 

As far as EQs, Disaster Prediction App has by far been great as it shows blot echoes on Earth as eqs are related to solar activity. Many observers can also predict locations on eqs and amazingly have been spot on accurate. It is through Suspicious 0bservers(Ben Davidson) who does a daily vid and has some great scientific based vid series that I encourage many to look into.
