Don't know exactly how, but perhaps something to do/or in conjunction with something He has given mankind that the French call "le libre arbitre"; ie., Free Will or the ABILITY to make free choices.

If we don't make good choices in the small, seemingly inconsequential aspects of our lives, the accumulative effect is to make us unfit and unable to make the big decisions which leads to the opportunity to make ANY decision being taken away.

Use "le libre arbitre" wisely or lose it.
