Supposedly, these aircraft are to bring evacuees from preliminary non-CONUS staging outside of AFG to their final destinations inside CONUS.
I'm thinking military refused to house these evacuees, most likely AFG nationals, on military bases. Report out yesterday saying blank US Visa forms were circulating in AFG. Too risky for a military base .Don't need mission centered troops fighting off embedded Taliban on a military base.
Still think Harris, hat in hand, is in Asia to sign off on a Taliban deal to avoid hostages. She's on the humiliation end of the deal. No leverage. Only sense I can make of an Asian trip at this juncture. Relates back to insecure comms from Bidan to the rest of the world, I think. Too much stuff, bad stuff, leaking out to alternative media.
