Come on people. The Mark is a physical mark, that will be present on the back of the hand or forehead. So imagine a digital tattoo or RFID, something on your skin itself that is digitized to enable you to buy or sell.
Clearly the vaccine is not that. Although certainly the info-management aspects of the vaccine passport move us closer in that direction. What we are seeing is the enabling of the technology and the legal / social hurdles being crossed. We are not yet seeing the actual mark.
It's tempting to think so amidst the fear, but the description sounds very much like a physical marker. Something that identifies you at a glance. It is also worth noting that the Mark is associated with the antichrist, who so far we are not aware of.
