(apologies for a non-tl;dr post)

Sadly we live in a world where we have to use this trick. When it comes to stuff like ivermectin I have a healthy dose of skepticism when news, big tech, etc. are pushing the same narrative. The question is, "So, what is the truth and how do I find it?"

One trick that helps in a lot of situations is to use a date-based search on your favorite search engine. For this, I'll explain with Google. Go to Google and search for ivermectin. Click the tools option. A drop down for "Any time" will appear below the search field. Use that to select custom date range. In this case, I'll search for ivermectin during Obama's terms, 1/1/2008 to 12/31/2015. If the page you're looking at appears to have been updated then you can use Google's cached feature to attempt to view as it was at that time. (also available in other internet archives if necessary)

For ivermectin, this leads to:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2751445/

In the Abstract,

"Ivermectin is an antiparasitic drug with a broad spectrum of activity, high efficacy as well as a wide margin of safety. Since 1987, this compound has a widespread use in veterinary medicine and it use has been extended in humans. Here we present a brief review of the information availabile regarding the pharmacokinetics and interactions of ivermectin in humans. Awareness of these characteristics could improve the clinical efficacy of Ivermectin. All Authors declare that they do not have any Conflict of interest and that the work is original. All Authors agree that the contents of the manuscript are confidential and will not be copyrighted, submitted, or published elsewhere (including the Internet), in any language, while acceptance by the Journal is under consideration."

In the 3rd link provided with this time-based search,

http://www.antimicrobe.org/drugpopup/Ivermectin.htm

"Adverse Effects:

In the absence of parasitic infection, the adverse effects of ivermectin in therapeutic doses are minimal. Adverse effects seen in filarial infections include fever, myalgia, malaise, lightheadedness, and occasionally postural hypotension. In onchocerciasis, skin oedema, pruritis and mild eye irritation may be seen.

Pregnancy:

While no adverse effects have been recorded in retrospective studies, administration of the drug to pregnant women is not advised.

Drug Interactions:

None of any clinical significance has been reported."

I am not advocating any treatment or therapeutic. Rather, I'm providing a technique that might help to find facts in a sea of disinformation. But 2 sites in the first 3, where ivermectin was not in the national spotlight during that time, say "wide margin of safety" and "adverse effects … are minimal". That's enough for me to believe there's a current disinformation campaign active and that I should have a personal conversation with my physician on my health choices.

Aquamation or water cremation is used for pets. It differs from a cremation where owners don't won't their beloved pet to be burned away in flame. Options probably differ state by state also, where handling of pet remains may be limited and restricted.

It's actually probably more inert and harmless than spreading or storing cremated ashes of remains. Not everything is nefarious. But I would question why you might require this process on covid human victims. I don't know why this process would trump a family's wishes, or a last will and testament though.
