I have been watching this story unfold most of the day. It's been mentioned across multiple mainstream news outlets and most everything I've read on social media of individuals who have communicated on the situation are replying negatively towards what I regard as indeed a victim of exploitation and who has clearly been significantly effected by a photograph taken of himself as an infant that he clearly could not to consent to.

Nirvana fans have appeared quite relentless in their defense of a favorite celebrity icon and it's affiliates despite significantly altering the life of an infant, now adult and the damage it possibly contributed to an individual who should be granted human rights.

I find it rather evident that Mr. Elden clearly experienced psychological effects from worldwide exposure of his anatomy which appears to have created a level of dissociation, depersonalization and anxiety leading to coping mechanisms.

Mr. Elden had the albums name 'Nevermind' tattooed on his upper torso and participated in updated photo reinactments of the album cover. He has of course no memory of the photograph that consumed his identity prior to self realization of existence. He seems to suggest he participated in these anniversary (of the album) photoshoots in attempts to reinact a photo of himself that he never consciously consented to and wished to attempt to experience to understand his pre-organized life-image that would follow him everywhere he went. Forever moralized as the, 'Nirvana Baby.'

Nobody seems to want to talk about the victim.

The family was appearently told a sticker would cover their child's reproductive organs and the album label reportedly added the dollar bill on a hook without consulting or gaining permission from the family. I read how the family obtained a mere $200 and zero additional royalties or compensation for the album which marketed millions of dollars throughout 3 decades since it's publication.

If all of this is truely accurate and proven in the courts, why should Mr. Elden not receive the fragile amount of financial compensation in comparison to the multitudes of wealth recieved by the photographers, band labels, affiliates and the band itself who received millions in comparison to what he is asking for in psychological life-long damages.

"Statistically improbable" number of wins raises red flags

A Massachusetts family is accused of defrauding the Massachusetts Lottery of nearly $21 million in a tax evasion scheme that took place over the past decade.

It wouldn't be farfetched to say that cashing in more than 13,000 winning lottery tickets worth almost $21 million over eight years would be statistically impossible, if not improbable. This many wins could not simply be attributed to sheer luck.

"A statistician will say that there's some astronomical odd," Lottery Executive Director Michael Sweeney told the New York Times. "But the reality is, it's zero."

Ali Jaafar, 63, and his sons Mohamed Jaafar, 31, and Yousef Jaafar, 28, conducted a ticket-cashing scheme commonly referred to as "ten-percenting," where scammers will buy winning lottery tickets from players for cash at a discount between 10-20% of the ticket's value. This means that players who originally held the tickets would not have to report the winnings on their tax returns or pay owed child support. The fraudsters then present the winning tickets to the Lottery as their own, claim the prize for themselves, and report the winnings on their tax returns such that they would be offset by alleged gambling losses, thus avoiding federal income taxes.

Between 2011 and 2019, Ali only paid $24,500 in federal taxes on the $15 million in lottery winnings he reported. On top of that, he received $886,261 back from the federal government in refunds.

The suspicions of fraudulent activity did not suddenly come out of nowhere. In 2019, Ali was named the "top individual lottery ticket casher," Mohamed ranked third, and Yousef ranked fourth. Combined, their winnings that year alone totaled $5.8 million. The Massachusetts State Lottery Commission had their eye on the Jaafar's since then and even suspended them from cashing in tickets.

In retaliation, the family brazenly sued the Lottery.

"I think it really speaks to a level of hubris," Sweeney said in an interview. "This is not the result of somebody who's lucky or somebody who is, quote-unquote, playing a lot."

In 2018, the Lottery introduced a policy that took aim at players who won with a frequency deemed "factually or statistically improbable." It allows the Lottery to freeze payouts for 90 days for anyone who claims at least 20 prizes valued at $1,000 or more in a year.

"If you're in violation of this policy, you should have the expectation that you will have a hearing and a potential suspension regarding this matter," Sweeney told WBUR.

The Jaafar family's prize claims were, without a doubt, factually impossible to the highest degree. State prosecutors said that Ali "would have had to purchase 12,411 tickets per day (each and every day), which equates to purchasing 517 tickets per hour and more than 8 tickets per minute," to account for the 569 winning scratch-off tickets he claimed for prize money over six months. The fact that the tickets were purchased "from Lowell to Nantucket, and Boston to Worcester" further drove the point home.

The Jaafars' claim was dismissed last year, and on Monday, they were collectively charged with over a dozen counts of fraud, money laundering, and tax evasion.

According to the United States Department of Justice, one count of conspiracy to defraud the IRS comes with a maximum sentence of five years in prison, one count of money laundering has a 20-year maximum sentence, and one count of filing false tax returns provides for a maximum of three years. The accused also face additional supervised release, fines, and restitution for each count.

How does 20% of the most strategic asset of the United States of America end up in Russian hands when the FBI has an informant, a mole providing inside information to the FBI on the criminal enterprise?

Very soon after; the sale was approved. $145 million dollars in “donations” made their way into the Clinton Foundation from entities directly connected to the Uranium One deal. Guess who was still at the Internal Revenue Service working the Charitable Division? None other than, Lois Lerner.

Ok, that’s all just another series of coincidences, nothing to see here, right? Let’s fast forward to 2015. Due to a series of tragic events in Benghazi and after the 9 “investigations” the House, Senate and at State Department, Trey Gowdy who was running the 10th investigation as Chairman of the Select Committee on Benghazi discovers that Hillary ran the State Department on an unclassified, unauthorized, outlaw personal email server. He also discovered that none of those emails had been turned over when she departed her “Public Service” as Secretary of State which was required by law. He also discovered that there was Top Secret information contained within her personally archived email.

Sparing you the State Departments cover-up, the nostrums they floated, the delay tactics that were employed and the outright lies that were spewed forth from the necks of the Kerry State Department, we shall leave it with this, they did everything humanly possible to cover for Hillary.

The remains of thousands of possible victims of the Stalin era have been discovered in Ukraine. According to authorities Wednesday, the bones of 5,000 to 8,000 people were found in more than two dozen graves near Odessa in the south of the country. The expert believes the remains are those of people executed by the Soviet secret police NKVD between 1937 and 1939. Ukrainian historians estimate that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians were imprisoned or executed in forced labor camps (gulags) during the Stalinist era. I’ve battled over whether to send this post from hospital or not.

But decided after 27 years of being a journalist who’s primary goal is to discover the truth - it would be hypocritical not to.

disclaimer first - I’m NOT anti vax. But I’m really not pro vax either. I’m pro choice - and pro information to make that choice.

above all I’m PRO opening the bloody country up and to do that I don’t see any way around getting the majority of Australia vaccinated.

So I got the Pfizer shot.

The first week was like any vaccine. Feeling off.

But nearing the end of the second week my heart started to race, I was getting pins and needles in the arms, extreme fatigue and a very strange sensation of dizziness. I took nurofen, and I kept working.

By the end of the third week i was getting steadily worse - sharp chest pain - cold shivers and chills - and the dizziness was intense.

25 days after the shot and probably a little late to hospital - but here I am - diagnosed with pericarditis - or inflammation of the heart due to the Pfizer vaccine.

Since being here I’ve contacted health professionals I know in Sydney and while It’s rare - it’s certainly not isolated. One hospital has had well over a dozen cases like me.

This is not a post for sympathy - the hospital and staff at the Gold Coast uni hospital have been beyond great and although it’s all new territory I’m told I’ll make a full recovery although I could be like this for months.

Thankfully I have the worlds smallest nurse keeping an eye on my ever present ECG.

But my present thought would be - in the current vaccine frenzy, no one is talking about this but it’s clearly happening - and if you want the vaccine and have any heart history it would be worth talking to your GP about your vaccine choice, especially as AZ is readily available and does not have this side effect.

If you don’t want the vaccine - i don’t have a problem with that either - but life and travel will get difficult for you.

The only thing for me that’s dead certain - if they don’t open Australia up when we reach their milestone of 70% - then there will be a lot more people marching in the street. You want the trust ? Keep your damn promise.

TOKYO (AP) — Japan suspended use of about 1.63 million doses of Moderna vaccine Thursday after contamination was found in unused vials, raising concern of a supply shortage as the country tries to accelerate vaccinations amid a COVID-19 surge.

The health ministry said contamination was reported from multiple vaccination sites. Some doses might have been administered, but no adverse health effects have been reported so far, officials said.

Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., a Japanese drugmaker in charge of sales and distribution of the vaccine in Japan, said it decided to suspend use of doses manufactured in the same production line as a safety precaution.

It asked Moderna to conduct an emergency investigation and told medical institutions and organizers to stop using the vaccine produced in Spain and shared the production numbers that may be affected.

The health ministry and Takeda did not give details on the type of contamination or if the doses in question may have been distributed outside Japan.

In the new world to come I hope there is room for people who just want to be left alone, to have simple pleasures, and to end the wholesale digital management of your entire life. But even if Patriots are the winners, will the new leadership be willing to give that up?

Biblically it is difficult for me to peer beyond the Event Horizon, because when Christians are snatched away this world will become a very different place.
