I don’t think the higher ranks have to salute back if I remember correctly. It’s the norm to do so, but I don’t think it’s required.
Are you saying there isn’t a satanic church founded by Anton LaVey or are you saying I didn’t get the nomenclature exactly right?
There are 5 orders of hierarchy. For example, the 3rd order is priests/priestesses. The 5th order is maga/magnus.
