I've lost track of how many mice. It's two or three times a week, it seems.
Speaking of raccoons. I have one that visits once or twice a week. I keep the kitchen sliding door slightly open for the cats to move freely. The raccoon has been visiting for the past two years. Unfortunately, it is just too cute to use as a deterrent for my mouser. Kek.

Yes. It seldom gets further than the kitchen but it once got all the way down to the basement where I keep the cat food bowl. Mostly it just goes after the garbage under the kitchen sink. It once toppled a pot of hamburger helper from the top of the stove. The cats don't bother with it, fortunately.
My problem is that my cats move freely in and out of the house. Just one of the cats is doing this. It started about two months ago.
Would not be a problem if the she could not move freely.
