It was:
"I NEED A LID!!! IT'S PUDDIN'-TIME!!!!!"
I did BBS's until a little company called Netcom provided inet access. It was a glorious place back in the day. By Y2K, it was a whole different place.
Uncle was at SMU in 1980. went back to visit. That was the precommercialized internet and full of a lot of academic research. Netcomm got on in Los Angeles circa 1990 and suddenly, the big commercial cross-connecting started at a building called 624 Grand when Williams Communications brought fiber across the desert in spare gas line conduits. It went nuts thereafter.
Cutting moar easton shafts down to length anon. Sharpening trokars. Stocked on camp food and water. CAF.
