When an article on Facebook detailed a QAnon conspiracy theory about a “16-Year Plan to Destroy America,” commenters demanded death for those supposedly involved, including former president Barack Obama, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton and other Democrats.

These posts — from January 2018, just months after QAnon flamed to life from the embers of Pizzagate, with its false claims of a child sex ring run by Democrats out of a Washington pizzeria — were among the many early warnings that the new conspiracy theory was fueling hatred and calls for violence on Facebook, Twitter and other social media.

But it would be years before Facebook and Twitter would make major moves to curb QAnon’s presence on their platforms, despite serious cases of online harassment and offline violence that followed, and moves by other social media companies to limit the spread of QAnon’s lurid and false allegations of pedophilia and other crimes.

So here we are in the final hour of yet another anniversary of the day of evil. Yeah, the day that pure evil showed its ugly face for the whole world to see and hardly anyone noticed. I thought that this would be the event that would change the world but all we got were more crackdowns on civil liberties, bombs dropping on innocent people and a lot of brainless patriotic flag waving in the very country where the government heinously murdered 3000 people in order to advance the goals of the globalists.

Within two days, I had compiled a debunking of the official story and emailed it off to some people I knew. To this day, nothing has ever been said to me in response. Nobody at my workplace breathed a single word about the event. It was as if it never happened. I printed and mailed my material to my mother and all I got back from her was: Well, if you can't trust the government then who can you trust? I have despaired the state of the world since then. Perhaps that is why I lost faith in the company I worked for and was fired for insubordination five years later. I don't regret it. I laid into them pretty hard, kek.

After that, I lived off my meager savings, some stonks and other assets. I did some work in cleaning and grocery stocking but never returned to my career in computer programming. The entire industry was becoming toxic and I could not submit myself to that.

Sometimes I wonder about my cats. Often I wake up to find the two of them watching over me. Perhaps my stress level has reached the point where they are concerned about my well-being. Or maybe they're just bored since my daughter moved out. My two roommates are not good company, that's for sure. In any case, I live about 50 feet away from a city park so I took them there tonight. Nice autumn weather and a slight breeze. We stood around under the trees for a half hour or so till I got bored. I know they enjoyed the outing however brief. I'll take them out later for a walk around the neighborhood in the dead of night when no humans are stirring.

This is all to say that maybe I haven't been taking care of myself very well. I don't know how I've lasted this long. It's already September and I thought the world ended in January. Life goes on, of course. Anons, keep doing what you're doing here, for whatever effect you think it has. At the very least, you're keeping a light burning in a world overcome by darkness. Above all, take care of yourself.
