It's hard to understand. Here I am diving in tropical waters, and yes, the water temp. drops a lot beginning at 15 feed. (at 110 feet depth the temp is much lower). When I got certified I had to get a wet suit. I bough a short sleeved and short legged suit. Everybody else as full body suits. Even with that, on my first dive in the Keys, after a few minutes I was overheated, I had to unzip my suit down to the bottom. Did the same thing the second day. Never wore the wet suit again. Never noticed the temp. changes.
