Lying to the FBI was what Flynn got railroaded for, but the FBI needed fabricated interviews to get it to court. Here we have years of evidence gather by a federal investigator with, thus far, a stellar rep.

Maroney did a good presentation, I thought. Yeah, she read it from her phone, but still better than going from memory and run the risk of getting too sobby when she hit the most painful flashbacks. Didn't watch it all, BP issues, so maybe 30 second bursts. But, overall, rational and sympathetic, I thought.
