1,401 have been sent back to Haiti so far, on 12 flights.

3,206 have been moved out of Del Rio sector. No indication how many released vs still facing T42 expulsion.

Fewer than 5,000 remain in Del Rio camp (down from 15k)

NEW: DHS confirms to @FoxNews that as of yesterday, 1,719 migrants from Del Rio have been expelled back to Haiti. The migrant camp reached a population of nearly 15,000 on Saturday, and there are now 3,881 at the camp as of one hour ago.

DHS says 3,206 Haitian nationals have been moved to other Border Patrol sectors to either be expelled via Title 42 or to be placed into “removal proceedings”. That’s a euphemism for releases with NTA’s or NTR’s.

SCOOP: Special Envoy for Haiti, Amb Daniel Foote, a career member of foreign service, has RESIGNED. In his letter of resignation, he says he will not be associated with the U.S.'s "inhumane, counterproductive decision to deport thousands of Haitian refugees." Letter attached.

This is confirmed by multiple sources inside both the governments of Haiti and the U.S.

Special Envoy for Haiti, Amb Daniel Foote, wrote in his resignation letter: "Our policy approach to Haiti remains deeply flawed, and my recommendations have been ignored and dismissed."
