What I've wondered is this:
When asswipes can flashbang your home in a raid, how are you supposed to be expected to not defend yourself?
You can be minding your own business and have your shit raided and you're supposed to just let it happen because someone is yelling some words like "POLICE"? I'm pretty sure any human can utter those words, whether they're LE or mean you great harm.
So, the tactic of any murdering thief should be to falsely announce you're SWAT/FBI/POLICE so that your victim has no option but to comply and let you do as you please?
Do people not see the slippery slope bullshit with this? If someone is flashbanging my fucking house, I am not simply just surrendering because they 'might' be LE…
How are no-knock raids not way more deadly for LE? And who is able to justify 'upstairs' that it's worth putting SWAT officers at risk because someone was simply at a rally?
Where do you guys draw the line? Anyone unannounced and flashbanging rooms in my house is getting the criminal intruder treatment, no? How are we supposed to discern bad threats from raiding our house vs LE raiding our house? We're just supposed to wait/stand down 'just in case'? Is it to be expected to just get fucked for simply being armed/aware until I realize what is happening?
Is 'announcing' (not done in no knock warrants) seriously enough? If you're tossing flashbangs how the fuck are people supposed to hear you?
I do not understand this sentiment at all… If you wanna be all non-peaceful and fucking no-knock raid me, how do you expect the end result to be peaceful in the slightest? How can you hold someone accountable if they legitimately think they're life is in danger BECAUSE YOU ARE RAIDING THEIR HOME…
